Participated in #GMTKJam again! The theme was "Count Down". We made a reverse roguelike where you start out powerful and sacrifice abilities and clothing as you play. I am proud of what our team created. 𧡠for my work in the jam.

We really overscoped the characters--my last tweet was the main character, but I also modelled 7 enemies (one was scrapped last minute). The working pace to get these done was BRUTAL but I am proud of them! π§΅

Here's a thread of some of the design process. After an evening of utter failure of a different design using an old base, I woke up with the mental image of a russian doll form based on a teardrop shape I used in the enemy characters.
We did the GMTK gamejam! The main character has over 30 unique meshes that disable as you play, changing his silhouette. I made him in under 24 hours π΅ Please rate our game--voting is open! cyanlaser.itch.io/murder-mosβ¦

Testing out a 4 vid tweet, never tried it before so here's some nostalgia with my Jet Set Radio Future fan game: "JSR Festival" released in 2021 on VRChat. I spent 10 months on this, creating all the extra original level design and content (like 60-70% of the city was entirely original with the level design, all the trials, the rival stages, final boss battle etc)
I like bringing "weird" experiences like this to VR, that game companies would never consider. I think one day I'll definitely want to revisit this gameplay in my own vr game not tied to JSR, although it won't be my current game project, it is something I do think about a lot.
Alongside Bullet Time Agent, this is one of the world's I'm most proud about. It was a dream world idea and I still can't believe I was able to do all that. So if you enjoyed any of my past "vr games inside a social chat app", keep an eye on for what I make for PC VR outside of vrc. I'm cooking XD
We're already seeing a good amount of wishlists on Meta a day after announcing Bullet Time Agent! We're curious whether Steam or Meta will have more by launch. Why not wishlist on both? ;)
