Thanks for the visit, @HodaKotb! 👋🧡   While on campus, she met with four @VT_LiberalArts classes working with her Joy 101 app to help make it more relevant for college-age audiences, and later participated in a panel discussion with students in the @commvt.

The Corps got it done last semester, especially with academics. 💪 Shout out to Alpha and Echo companies for tying for third highest company GPA at 3.35. Golf Company took second highest at 3.4, and the company with the highest GPA at 3.43: Mike Company! 🏆 Well done!

"Cadets stay closer to their training and return to training sooner, so morale stays high and they build camaraderie with their fellow cadets,” said Ken Mallory, director of the corps' Citizen-Leader Track. "It’s a win across the board.” news.vt.edu/articles/2025/09… @StudentsAtVT

New cadets from the Class of 2029 traveled on Sunday to the National D-Day Memorial. They walked the grounds there, learning more about the courage and sacrifice shown on June 6, 1944, and paused to honor those who gave their lives that day.

The transformation has begun. From struggle to strength, from single student to cohesive team, the Class of 2029 is learning what it takes first to follow and then lead, one of many lessons in becoming prepared to lead and trusted to serve.
