Despite Trump's claim that he "saved historically Black colleges," when ContrabandCamp interviewed administrators and analyzed the data, we found a different story. As one HBCU president said:

We Built This.
Black wealth didn’t begin with modern opportunity.
It was built through resilience, education, and community.
This Black History Month, SFI launches #WeBuiltThis, honoring those shaping Black economic mobility then and now.
Still building what’s next.
Our goal is simple: 100 committed donors giving $10 a month to help students thrive in college and beyond.
Your monthly support fuels real opportunities…from emergency assistance to long-term student success.
Every recurring gift moves us closer to the finish line.

#ThrowbackThursday 🏛️
For more than 50 years, the Welcome Bridge has stood as a beloved Morgan landmark — connecting students to the Academic Quad, serving as a gathering place, and symbolizing the University’s continued growth.
Named in honor of Verda Freeman Welcome, the nation’s first African American female state senator, the bridge remains a testament to her trailblazing legacy and Morgan’s enduring spirit. 💙🐻
