ALT Students in the ground floor of the Owen building atrium with Palestine flags and banners that say ‘¡NO PASARÀN!’ ‘WAR CRIMINALS OUT’ and ‘CUT TIES WITH APARTHEID’

ALT Bird’s Eye view of the atrium completely deserted

ALT A picture of the Sheffield Hallam uni website. There is a picture of the VC’s smiling face and underneath text that says ‘cancelled: the vice-chancellor’s leaving event. Sadly, the event for Professor Sir Chris Husbands this afternoon has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience.’

ALT Photo from inside the arts tower. Students hold up 3 banners. The largest, written in green and black and splashed with red pain to look like blood, says ‘£72.000,000 IN BLOOD MONEY’. In front is a smaller one which says ‘S.H.A.G’ in red and underneath ‘SHEFFIELD ACTION GROUP’ in black. To the left is a banner in pink and purple which says ‘STUDENTS SUPPORT THE STRIKE’

ALT Close up photo of the banners from outside. One is the SHAG banner and the other says ‘GET THE MILITARY OUT OF EDUCATION’ in black, red and pink paint

ALT A final photo of the arts tower from outside but this time further back so you can see the tower looming above
