ON THIS DAY 09/05/87 Meadowbank Thistle's finest achievement. Alloa were Thistle’s final victims of the Second Division championship-winning season, as David Roseburgh’s goal was enough for a 1-0 victory which clinched the title at Recreation Park.

ON THIS DAY 08/05/93 Meadowbank Thistle were beaten 3-2 by Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park. Our goals were scored by David Roseburgh and Paul Rutherford. The result wasn’t enough to keep us in the First Division, but Rosey’s goal made him the club’s all-time record goalscorer.
