Have to give it to Daniel Farke. One of the rare occasions a manager has learnt then hard way from his “philosophy” and changed the whole outlook of the team to suit the league they’re playing in. Done a great job last couple of years.

For the sake of balance. Our transfers over the last summer up to now don’t exactly scream short term gains. Grealish maybe Norgaard replacing a 37 year old but everyone else is 19-26 years old. I’ve seen certain accounts saying we haven’t signed players of that age

I don’t get all the panic over Newcastle. They’ve invested money already in some top prospects. They may pad that out with a few more experienced players when Guimares money lands. I’d be more concerned with manager change. It’s not doom and gloom though.

RIP Franco Baresi. Possibly the greatest defender/footballer I’ve ever seen. The defenders never get the recognition that forwards do. He’s the Pele of defenders for me. Barely ever seen him make a last ditch tackle. Like he was a psychic when it came to positioning.
