Well, I think it’s about time that I announce my retirement from RP. I’m barely active in that field anymore anyway, and I wasn’t really feeling it the way I used to. I will probably keep this account around, but just use it to talk about my interest interests and post art—

The ending of Saitama vs Boros is genuinely one of the most beautiful pieces of writing in OPM
Two individuals cursed by the exact same strength, desperately searching for someone who could make them feel alive again
And the tragedy is that Boros finally gets what he wanted, while Saitama doesn't
Saitama even tries to give him the satisfaction of believing it was a close fight, only for Boros to see right through him
For the first time, Boros experiences what it's like to be completely outclassed, and in doing so, understands the loneliness Saitama has to live with
Boros "dies" having finally experienced the thrill he'd spent his entire life chasing
Saitama walks away knowing he's still searching
The loser found his fulfillment. The winner was left with nothing

I went ahead and saw #GodzillaMinusZero It was absolutely phenomenal! Easily one of if not the best Godzilla movies ever made! I have some thoughts I’d like to share on it, however it only just came out today and I think I should wait so that people have enough time to see it.

I went to the Japan premiere of “Godzilla Minus Zero” at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya. As a huge Godzilla fan and a fan of Minami Hamabe, this is a film I’ve been eagerly waiting three years to see. And I got to see it in IMAX!!! There were moments that played out just as I imagined, moments that surprised me in the best possible way, moments beyond anything I could have imagined, and moments clearly made for hardcore fans (scenes that brought tears to my eyes as a longtime fan, and scenes I’d always dreamed of seeing brought to life)….. I can’t say anything more without giving away spoilers. By the final climax, I was so excited that I practically felt dorsal fins sprouting from my back and an atomic heat ray blasting out of my mouth! There’s also a little of that “Always: Sunset on Third Street” feeling, perhaps because it’s directed by Takashi Yamazaki. The film opens in Japan on November 3. Once it’s released, I’ll definitely be seeing it a few more times in IMAX.
Gonna be honest. I’m kind of disappointed with that last Death Battle and I’m not even talking about the outcome. I do have my thoughts on that, but my biggest issue is how OOC both characters were portrayed.—
You really expect me to believe that Goku and Saitama would fight each other, give each other a real challenge, and neither of them would be excited. Goku’s whole thing is wanting to fight, strong stronger opponents, and Saitama’s thing is wanting to feel excitement from battle—
