Professor Mearsheimer: "It is not in the interests of the UAE and Saudi Arabia to have hostile relations with Iran; the United States can no longer protect them. From now on, no country in the Persian Gulf will dare to act against Iran; Iran has proven to be much more powerful than all of them."

80 Greeks resisted 4,000 muslim Turks. On May 18, 1821, the battle took place that gave Nikitaras the nickname "Turk-eater" (Turkofagos). On May 18, the Greeks who had risen in revolt against centuries of Ottoman tyranny, which had tormented and murdered them and stolen their children to convert them to Islam, fought under the leadership of Nikitas Stamatelopoulos (known as Nikitaras), nephew of Kolokotronis. They engaged the enemy in three places: Ano Doliana, Vervena, and Dragouni. The Battle of Doliana was the first major battle in which he took part and the battle that determined the creation of a legendary hero for the Greeks and a personality who inspired fear in the Turks merely at the sound of his name. On May 17, Kolokotronis ordered his nephew Nikitaras to go to Doliana with 100 men and there to meet with another 50 men from the Vervena camp, and from there to take the road to Argos and Nafplio where Admiral Laskarina Bouboulina, Dimitrios Tsokris, and the Filiki Eteria member Staikos Staikopoulos were located. This had to be done in order to obtain war supplies and to assist their fellow fighters. The next day, as dawn broke on May 18, 4,000 Ottoman men with cannons, under the orders of Kehaya Bey, set out from Tripolitsa heading toward Vervena. When the army reached Rizes, the forces were divided by Kehaya Bey into three columns. One column marched toward Doliana so as to reach Vervena from the flank, another marched directly toward the Vervena camp, and the third column, which was the cavalry and smaller, was sent to Dragouni, a neighboring settlement. Nikolaos, his brother, was negative on the matter, but Nikitaras immediately replied that he would help the locals unto death. In fact, Nikitaras’s reply to his brother Nikolaos has been preserved: "My brother, I am going to Anapli seeking Persians, and now that I have found them here, shall I leave them? I will not do that." Of course Nikitaras did not mean the Persians; rather, he likened the Turks to the Persian invasion against the Greeks, where, just as his ancestors the Greeks fought for their freedom, in the same way he too fights the Turks. During the Revolution of 1821, the encouragement of the Greeks by taking as models the heroes of the Greco-Persian Wars played an important role. The achievements of their ancestors gave them strength to continue their struggle for freedom. Nikitaras rushed back with his men and fortified himself in the houses of the village. Kehaya Bey’s headquarters was set up in the church of Ai-Giorgis. At Dragouni, the Ottoman horsemen relatively easily wiped out the small heroic group of Greek fighters. A battle broke out at Doliana in which the Greeks were far fewer in number, yet they managed to halt the Ottoman advance in a battle that lasted the entire day. One particular feature of this battle is that it is the first (and one of the few) battles of the Revolution that was fought inside a settlement and not in the open countryside. Indeed, at Doliana most of the 13 stone-built houses in which the Greek fighters fortified themselves are still preserved today, including the one in which Nikitaras himself took position, which today is a listed building and functions as a museum. Fotios Chrysanthopoulos (Fotakos), fighter and first adjutant of Theodoros Kolokotronis and historiographer of many events of the era, writes in his "Memoirs concerning the Greek Revolution," pp. 76–77: "This battle is very important, because before it the Battle of Valtetsi had taken place, and after these battles the Greeks gained great boldness so as no longer to fear the Turks, and they began to ask where the Turks were, not as before when they said ‘the Turks are coming’ and fled." Thus, in this battle, Nikitaras, with 80 Greeks, held Ano Doliana, and managed to repel 4.000 Turks. Because many Turks fell by his hand that day, the Greeks named him "Turk-eater" (Tourkofagos). And the songs were saying: "Leonidas’s sword, Nikitaras will hold it." "Oh hero Nikitaras! The blood of the Turks cries out, That you may cease your sword Your Greek impetus. With eighty men you shut yourself in, You did not fear the Turks. Three thousand you do not dread, Like Leonidas you call Let us honor the fatherland, And all live for one hour, The time of glory has come, That you may give vengeance" If you want to support me in the effort I’m making, please consider becoming a subscriber to my X account for only $2. The Forgotten Greek Warlord Georgios Kastriotis Skenderbeis of Epirus like the Molossian King of Epirus Pyrrhus. The Greek King the Hero that saved Europe against the Turkalbanians and Ottomans. One of the lesser known heroes of Greek history is George Kastriotis, known also as Skander beys. It is the national hero of Albanians at the same time is unknown or wrongly presented in Greece. as ethnic Albanian. Let's see who the final Skander beys. His real name is Georgios Kastriotis. The last name and has true origin after his grandfather, Konstantinos Kastriotis (1390), was ruler of the region of Kastoria and Imathia. His father was Ioannis Kastriotis, ruler of Kroias while his mother came from Serbia (Voisava). Shortly before the fall of Constantinople, and while the Sultan Murad II conquered the Byzantine one province after another, ask the ruler of Kroias as a manifestation of subjugation and domination of the guarantee, the ransom of 4 sons one of whom was George. I. The Kastriotis accepted and children embraced Islam after (it was Christians) were found to be raised in the sultan's court Andrianoupoleos along with the later conqueror of Constantinople, Mehmed the Second. Sultan Murad, seeing the great progress and the gifts of Greek children gave him the Turkish name "Iskender Bey" (Skanderbeg) which means "Alexander ruler." Despite the Ottoman upbringing, Georgios did not forget his roots. The news of the death of his parents and the oppression from the Turks gave rise to Skander beys in battle fleeing to Serbia and to return to the ancestral lands. Once married Androniki Comnena, George Kastrioti on November 28, 1443 declares the revolution against the Turks. As an emblem used the Byzantine double-headed eagle on a red background, the most current flag of Albania. George Kastriotis thanks martial virtues was able to rid the province of the Turkish occupation and cause admiration in the Christian West who expect the Ottoman threat. It was so great successes Kastriotis that forced him to the sultan to war against him. Typical are the praise of Pope Kallistratos III, naming the Kastriotis "knight of Christ" and "athlete of God." Even after the fall of Constantinople (1453), the Skander bey operated undisturbed until his death. On January 17, 1467 at the age of 63 died of malaria. He was buried with the values expected of a legend in the Church of St. Nicholas in Alessio (ancient Lissos). Evidence of the Greek origin of George Kastriotis: Despite knowledge of the origin of the Albanians continue to believe and propagate some Greeks unknowingly that the Albanian Skander bey was active in the region because of today's Albania. Of course, except that they forget their Greek territories (from the time of Pyrrhus), do the methodological error of timing differences in their attempt to find a great hero in the Albanian history has had to show a hero as always succumbed to bribery and political pressures of the larger forces (see Ottoman Empire, Fascist Italy, Nazi Germany and Soviet Union). Here are some proofs of the root of Georgios Kastriotis o himself Kastriotis were Greek speaking and all of the letters to the rulers of the West and the Sultan were written in Greek, even presented as a descendant of Epirus, not of Illyrian (see letter to the Italian Ursini, 1460). Brought Macedonian helmet and using the name of Alexander the Great, sample continuity national consciousness. Speaking of Pope Paul II said: "After Enslavement of Asia and Greece, after the slaughter of the offspring of Con sovereign / city of Trebizond and desolation ... most part of Macedonia and Epirus, opposite the savage conqueror of competitor to crush his cross, to lift on the Capitol Crescent and slaves to pay for the whole world I stand alone ... after the remains of soldiers after me and of my small Hellenic state". The Turkish biographer of Ali Pasha, Ahmet Moufit, writes Kastriotis about "the year 1443 he escaped from the Ottoman camp of Morava the Greek sovereign Kastriotis and went to the headquarters of his ancestors, the Kroia." Italian, English and Swedish reports consider Skanderbeg Greek. Thus Italian A. Salvi in the tragedy (1718) refers to him as a Greek (Greco). The Englishman C. Randall in 1810 he calls Greek Hero (Grecian Hero) and the Swedish Barrau initially and Rudbeck later (1835) consider Georgios Kastriotis Greek. The Greek Christian Kastriotis was conscious and was the holder of the Greek culture. The documents were prepared in the Chancellery was written in Greek. In 1461 his address to the Sultan Mehmed II wrote: "George is renamed Skanderbeys, ruler of Epirus and the soldier of Jesus Christ The Cross the Cross Hail Iskander Epirus and Greece ...". Similarly addressed to King Alfonso himself "Prince of Epirus."

🚨 HOLY CRAP! DNI Tulsi Gabbard just said the EU and NATO are trying to drag us into a war with Russia, and that Deep Staters are OBSTRUCTING peace negotiations "They do so to pull the US military into a conflict with Russia, which is ultimately what the EU and NATO want. We CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN." "Every time they make progress, move closer to that hope for peace - the war mongers and deep state step up and do everything they can to stop them!" "The Deep State, Intel Community, leak it to their friends in the Mainstream Propaganda Media to try to spread a false narrative." "They foment fear and hysteria as a way to justify the continuing of the war, to undermine President Trump's efforts towards peace." "We have to see clearly what's happening before our very eyes - and stand UNITED in this cause for peace." KNEW IT! Thank you @TulsiGabbard for speaking out!

The level of projection in this one is hard to fathom. Albanians, an artificial nation created in the 1920s by the great powers after the Balkan League liberated them from the Turks, with copied language, copied religion, and no culture, claiming Greece is a an artificial nation.
