Venus passes between Earth and the Sun 5 times every 8 years, and those 5 points trace a near-perfect pentagram. 8 Earth years ≈ 13 Venus years. 5, 8, 13: consecutive Fibonacci numbers. The pentagram is built on the golden ratio. The Maya tracked this cycle in the Dresden Codex. The planet of beauty draws the proportion of beauty.

#FolkloreSunday #Hecate, Queen of Witches, Goddess of the Crossroads, is closely associated with her sacred dogs which herald her arrival at the crossroads by barking or howling. They are depicted as black, and belonging to the Ancient Greek #Molossus breed. The dogs are symbols of loyalty and protecters for those traveling at night or those seeking guidance in liminal spaces.

Yes - my grandmother used to make them for us - English ancestry - I didn’t realise till I moved here that all her cooking was English - not American! As Americans we did mince and pumpkin pies and I always did kahlua cake - and tons of biscuits - why thank you! 😘

I’ve found walking with a certain openness seems to enhance that feeling ✨

A great way to see Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is to stare at the center of the spiral for 20 seconds and then look at the painting. Why Starry Night was so famous: bit.ly/49VNzyl

CITIZEN KANE (1941) gave cinema one of its most jaw-dropping tracking shots, gliding through space with a fluidity that still feels astonishing 85 years later. Technology has evolved beyond recognition, but the sheer ingenuity of this shot remains untouchable.

Ascended masters are said to be able to live forever or incarnate at will. Sometimes they make they make themselves known or they can choose to blend in. Cagliostro’s magic ring is on display in Freemasons’ Hall in London.
