I suggest you read the EA 2010. Labelling a space "single sex" has no effect, as far as the EA is concerned unless you can show there is a legitimate aim. Otherwise the risk is labelling something single sex is descriminatory.

Yes the Equality act is a law. It says single sex spaces are permitted, not required. It also imposes duties on service providers, not service users. It is Civil law and does not create criminal offences. You understand them first Elizabeth

You may have noticed over the past year that Stats for Lefties has been slowing down, especially in the past several months. This a direct result of my physical disabilities and chronic illnesses worsening, making me unfit to work & unable to do things I love. One of the things I have had to give up for the sake of my health is this project. I’m deeply sad about it, but I think eight years of it is long enough.
