Have been asked to verify early #Bitcoin claims from my content. I kept the receipts. In March 2013 I paid BF Labs Inc. (Butterfly Labs) $683 for a 30 GH/s miner, item SGL300G. I do not remember how much bitcoin it produced. The feeling at the time was closer to collecting gold in Diablo than to a trade. I was a precious-metals stacker, later sold the stack for crypto, and could not get anyone else to take it seriously. QRL, set next to the quantum and AI threat, feels the same today. As always, DYOR. But... base:0x37696cd8f723ce541ac376f79fc109080e505ba3

Quantum-Ready Blockchains Compared, Part 1: What "Quantum-Ready" Actually Means 1/ “Quantum-ready” is in every crypto roadmap now. It doesn’t mean one thing. New 5-part series comparing 9 chains: QRL, Algorand, Nervos, Aptos, Sui, Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Solana, Cardano. Part 1 👇 2/ What a quantum computer could actually hit: • User signatures → coins stolen • Validator signatures → fake blocks • Randomness → rigged block lottery • Mining → only a speed-up 3/ The part most coverage misses: proof-of-stake chains need 2 migrations (holders’ keys and consensus). Proof-of-work chains need 1. 4/ 2026 so far: • Google estimate: under 500,000 qubits could break today’s coin signatures • Algorand and NEAR switched on opt-in quantum-safe accounts • Most others are still at proposals and test networks 5/ Every chain gets the same 5 tests and a 7-rung ladder, from “announced” to “the default.” Only one small chain is on the top rung. scryvehq.com/article/quantum…

I thought it was some random $ALGO fan who built the tool to inflate their PQ tx count against $QRL, but it's worse: It was @Algorand's own Head of Product Marketing!

Without a deadline you can verify, is it possible to know when a chain has run out of time to migrate?

Six companies are now in @DARPA’s quantum Stage C: Companies and Modalities - IBM - Superconducting IonQ - Trapped Ions Atom Computing - Neutral Atoms Diraq: Silicon Spin Microsoft: Topological PsiQuantum - Photonic Advertised Goal - Utility Scale By 2033. Blockchain and CRQCs are still on a collision course. networkworld.com/article/423…

Hot Take For Sunday - No callouts. No names. Just straight talk. Plenty of room in the ecosystem for multiple post-quantum blockchain projects. Competition is healthy ... It drives innovation, fights stagnation, provides options, and creates ecosystem redundancy while cryptographic schemes face pressure from AI and quantum. Options good. Monopolies bad. What I take issue with is misleading claims, intentional misdirection, misinformation, or outright fabrication. When evaluating quantum projects, align with those that put principles first. Product is nothing without reputation. If you agree, follow me, and I promise I will continue keep it truthful, no matter where the data takes us.

Something that changed how I think about quantum risk was realizing I did not want to go back to who I was before I understood it. I've been a stacker, a BTC maximalist, an alt-coin accepter, and now advocate for post-quantum security. For years I was the person who assumed keys on a chain were safe because they always had been. I preached. I've always preferred truth over convenience. I see the exposed keys and have to talk about them, and I prefer that to never having looked. Blockchain will survive. But what 'sacraficial comprpomises' will need to happen?

Algorand has the audacity to flex with botted transactions, lol 😂 I analyzed all of them. The truth: - 99.2% come from wallets that look scripted - 10 wallets sent 865K txns in 48h, then vanished $QRL has every wallet and txn quantum-resistant since 2018. $ALGO has... bots.
Algorand is now officially #1 in post-quantum across the entire industry 🥇 Over 2.7 MILLION post-quantum transactions on mainnet, more than any other blockchain on the planet. Others are still talking about the quantum threat. We've been shipping since 2022, and nobody has caught us.

Replying to @Algorand
Congratulations @Algorand however that number for @QRLedger is you have is out of date the number of transactions we have done is over 6 million. Source: quantascan.io/

Every proposed Bitcoin quantum migration plan has the same flaw. You have to move your own coins. Not everyone will. Lost keys cannot. So the leftovers get frozen, forked away, or stolen. If a fork can take your bitcoin because you missed a deadline, was it ever really yours?

Google Quantum AI showed magic state cultivation on Willow hardware. Errors down ~40x versus prior methods, 99.99% logical fidelity for T-states. A hardware demo is not a CRQC. thequantuminsider.com/2026/1…

I predict this post will age well.
Quantum Tier List (2026) Everyone says their chain is quantum ready but only a few can prove it. 👇 I ranked 34 "quantum" projects including the 28 on @Mars_DeFi's list based on • quantum safety • upgradability • testnet/mainnet • age + size • privacy feature S .@QRLedger - every wallet has used XMSS feature, a hash-based signature quantum computers can't crack, it has been live since 2018, with multiple audits. A .@QuantusNetwork - uses quantum-safe ML-DSA signatures by default, but mainnet only launched this September. .Abelian - quantum-safe lattice signatures since 2022, but its own custom design haa no public crypto audit. .@tidecoin - uses Falcon, a quantum-safe signature, on every transaction since 2020, but it's a tiny network. .@cellframenet wallets use Dilithium, a quantum-safe signature, by default, but adoption is small. .@QoreChain - every transaction needs a quantum-safe ML-DSA signature, but mainnet only went live in June this year. .@NeptunePrivacy - spending uses hash-based proofs, but it's a young chain. .@NEARProtocol - quantum-safe ML-DSA keys are live since Jul 2026, and you can switch your account to them anytime. .@Algorand - quantum-safe Falcon accounts are live since Aug 2026, and you can move an existing wallet over. B .@Starknet - its proofs are quantum-safe, but your wallet keys aren't yet, and the safe wallet is just a demo. .@solana - an outside team built a quantum-safe vault you can opt into, the chain itself isn't quantum safe. .@NervosNetwork - an optional quantum-safe lock exists, but you have to move funds into it. .@trondao - quantum-safe Falcon and ML-DSA keys are being tested on its testnet. .@tezos - testing quantum-safe ML-DSA accounts on a special testnet. .@QANplatform - is integrating quantum-safe Dilithium signatures, but still on testnet only. .@quipnetwork - building earky stage quantum-safe accounts for coins on other chains, still on testnet. .@Aptos - its quantum-safe SLH-DSA accounts are coded but still waiting for a governance vote to switch it on. .@SuiNetwork - made its first quantum-safe transaction on a dev network this month, and mainnet is targeted for 2027. .@Tensorcash - you can create quantum-safe ML-DSA addresses, but it's a small, new network. .Bitcoin BIP-360, a proposal for quantum-safe addresses, is still a draft C .@ethereum - still researching quantum-safe upgrades, most likely years away. .@zksync - its proofs are quantum-safe, but user accounts aren't. .@Zcash - plans for quantum-safe signatures, but nothing shipped yet. .Qoneqt - claims a quantum-safe vault, but can't verify anything yet. .@injective - said last week it started building toward a quantum future, but no details yet. .@monad - quantum-safe keys are still on their roadmap. .@aztecnetwork no quantum plan or anything substantial published yet but Mars included it in his list .@mindnetwork_xyz - focuses on encryption, not quantum-safe signatures but seems they frame that as quantum .@NexusMutual - security-focused imo, no quantum plan .@Qubic - quantum-themed only, maybe to join the hype, but little real quantum-safe tech. .@GeeqOfficial - only security claims, no quantum details .AME Chain - claims to be quantum-secure, little public proof .QuStream - quantum claims, little public detail Bottom line: Most of crypto still runs on keys a quantum computer could break. Only one project here clears every bar today and that's @QRLedger. But there's room for growth and tech like this would take years to perfect👌

A WTO “Quantum 101” session told trade officials that the encryption supporting international trade could be broken by quantum computers within roughly five years. The session noted there is still no shared definition of what “quantum safe” means for trade systems. Harvest-now-decrypt-later collection is already possible. A briefing is not a standard. With all proposed Bitcoin Post-Quantum migrations, users still have to initiate a transaction. thequantuminsider.com/2026/1…

Unpopular Post-quantum migration thoughts that remain true - 1. A PQ signature scheme is not a migrated chain 2. Exposed keys are the inventory. And liability. 3. A CRQC stealing funds does not affect just the wallet, it effects the trust of the entire chain, and thus reduces the value of all wallets. 4. A testnet is not mainnet and an ERC20 'Post Quantum' Hybrid chain isn't secure if the underlying L1 is not. 5. Freezing old coins is a policy fight rather than a math problem, and the hardest of the two. 6. Users still have to move their coins. The chain can't do it for you. 7. "Quantum-safe" means nothing without a migration path

Hot take - Even at 1.3%, the total monetary risk to a 2.7T USD ecosystem is still a very large number.
Opus 5.5 puts BTC signatures breaking in the next 2 years from quantum or classical maths at… Quantum: 0.5% Classical/AI: 0.8% ->1.3% total risk FLIPSIDE: survey of analyst expectation is for BTC to return >200%

Nine blockchain organizations launched the Quantum Alliance in Lisbon. The open body will define post-quantum readiness criteria, publish test benchmarks, and produce migration reference designs for exposed keys and dormant accounts. Roughly 6 million BTC already have public keys on chain. A standards group is not a soft fork. With all proposed Bitcoin Post-Quantum migrations, users still have to initiate a transaction. @QuantusNetwork globenewswire.com/news-relea…

10 years ago today, QRL's first code commit marked the beginning of a mission to build for a future few were thinking about. From a forward-thinking idea to a live post-quantum blockchain, and now toward QRL 2.0, none of it would be possible without the builders and community behind it. Here's a look back at how far we've come...and what's ahead ⤵️ theqrl.org/blog/10-years-of-…
