In case you didn't know, Elmo has sank almost 200 million dollars into Texas trying to get Abbott and Paxton elected - and 3 months after he did so, Abbott signed off on over 1.6 billion in tax breaks for Elmo's chip plant in TX. I'm sure it's a coincidence.

The hacks in this administration—and their apologists on social media—told us Trump would pay down the debt. Instead, he’s taking it to new heights via waste, corruption, and his unconstitutional war in Iran. Americans are paying the price.

Breaking News: The U.S. budget deficit is nearing $2 trillion, its highest level since the pandemic. Higher interest rates are inflating borrowing costs as the Trump administration spends on the Iran war and tariff refunds. nyti.ms/4B8t65Y

Fact check: Mike Rogers is one of the chief architects of the modern surveillance state. In Congress, he opposed every substantive effort to protect Americans’ privacy and worked hand in hand with the NSA, FBI, and intelligence agencies to bypass and erode the Fourth Amendment.
Flock cameras shouldn't be used to track law-abiding citizens. As a former FBI guy, I know security and liberty aren’t enemies. Good government protects both.

Donald Trump is the authoritarian socialist president that Republicans used to warn about.
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!

This $5,000 “Trump Dividend” promise was first made in Sept. 2026. Similar prior DOGE and tariff check pledges have not been paid out. It would cost ~$1.2 trillion and require congressional approval. pbs.org/newshour/polit… washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/…

BREAKING: An Iowa state court has dismissed President Donald Trump’s frivolous lawsuit against veteran pollster and FIRE client J. Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register newspaper, a victory for First Amendment rights. More to come.
BREAKING: FIRE will defend J. Ann Selzer, the veteran pollster whose last poll before the 2024 election incorrectly predicted Kamala Harris leading in Iowa, against a baseless lawsuit by President-elect Donald Trump that threatens Americans’ First Amendment rights.

Here we have Senate Majority Leader and liar liar pants on fire @LeaderJohnThune claiming everybody has more money in their pockets because of the policies of the last 2 years. Here are the facts: Real wages are down .3%, prices have climbed 3.4%. The personal savings rate is 3.0% and had dropped to 2.6% in April. A year ago that number was 4.4%. The average American is going to spend an additional $1,020 this year in fuel costs alone ($860 so far as of this writing) thanks to the GOP's war in Iran, will spend an additional $714 this year in energy costs, and $1,200 in higher prices due to tariffs. Meaning GOP policies this year alone are costing the average American $2,934. Meanwhile, the average American only received approximately $1,450 in savings from the only thing the GOP has done to reduce household costs - that being, the temporary tax cuts they keep crowing about. The numbers don't lie - this entire administration and congress is a failure of epic proportions.
