This morning @thegreenparty has called for the EHRC’s harsh and ill-considered guidance on single-sex spaces to be withdrawn. As it stands the guidance puts trans people at risk of discrimination and violence and clearly hasn’t been drawn up with trans people’s input. I’ll be pushing for better

Lesbians are NOT the demographic most supportive of trans inclusion. Paraphilic straight blokes who LARP as lesbians aren't lesbians. They don't belong in lesbian spaces, and we don't want to date them or suck their manky girldicks. Hope that's clear.

About 20 years ago, I thought I was being a supportive (femme) lesbian partner as my (ex)spouse embarked on this path of self-harm. Back then, it was expected of us to be supportive, and very few spoke out—props to those few who did and were met with fury from other women.
It quickly became clear to me that her choice to undergo breast removal and take testosterone was only worsening her mental health--deepening her disconnect from being a woman.
Since then, it’s been agonizing to witness the thousands of butch lesbians pursuing similar paths of self-harm. They are modelling for younger lesbians that rejecting femininity and desiring ‘femme’ partners must mean they’re actually straight men.
This lesbophobic, misogynistic ideology has been embraced by everyone from so-called progressive lesbians to conservatives who’d prefer a ‘straight’ son over a butch lesbian daughter.
