We are so excited to see our volunteers from St Pauls Street Watch winning the Outstanding Community Group Award 2026. @SimonFosterPCC @StreetWatchWM @WestMidsPCC

PCSO Mulla & Maker have been out with #Willenhall Memorial Park @StreetWatchWM group today. A warm welcome and thank you to the new members for joining the Streetwatch family.

It’s only 5 days into September and already my local @StreetWatchWM area is seeing an uplift in crime; not that the summer was any different 😔 Today my kids found a stolen rucksack (lots of persons items I can’t show) and 6 credit cards dumped in bushes - all logged with WMP. Most of this is relevant wherever you are so I urge you to :- 🏦 Banking: avoid outside ATMs. Use inside cash points or banking kiosks. 🚗 Vehicles: lock your car and leave nothing on view. Cars are regularly being left open overnight with loose change, sunglasses, dash-cams / mounts, tech cables plus boot and glove box contents being taken. Leave a note by your car keys if you can’t remember! 📦 Parcels: choose secure parcel delivery to an Amazon Locker or your corner shop. Don’t leave it for your courier to decide. Your courier will leave parcels on your door step on view without knocking your door. My area has prolific parcel thieves and an Evri courier had their vehicle window smashed on Friday with parcels taken. ✊ Speculators: individuals are regularly door knocking asking for money ‘to pay the meter’ etc or offering odd jobs at too-good-to-be-true prices. Please don’t give money to people soliciting at the door. If they’re offering a service, choose companies recommended to you or use Checkatrade. Last month we gave chase to 2 individuals trying doors and one was arrested for thieving. Thanks to @WMPolice Response for attending that 999 💙. I need to go to the gym 😮‍💨 📸 Fit a doorbell camera (Ring, Arlo, ERA, Blink) so you can see who is there and don’t feel you have to open the door. People can be plausible but every penny you give goes back into organised crime and puts your community at more risk. If you see suspicious activity or want to report a non emergency, either call 101 or log online with your police force. To report a crime in progress, always call ☎️ 999. @HarborneWMP
