If you're affected by a single Google GCP/GCE zone going down that's a you thing, if you're a large business - or worse, a bank - and your services are affected by this, you should urgently hire some people who know what they're doing.

IDK if this is a law of software/computing, but if it isn't it should be: Every workaround has a half-life. Eventually, it stops fixing the original problem and starts causing a new one.

Designing and writing a new programming language is easy: right until you get into cross-language projection and weird memory allocation problems like unexpected retained copies. Things get nitty-gritty fast.

Your daily reminder that Labour supporters are pure unadulterated evil.

Every time I see job postings like this @LSEGplc I think "okay; but what are you actually looking for, you're all over the place.." then click off. They can't be having a good time hiring people that way - most sw people worth their salt have got better things to do..

Here's the former head of Mi6 to remind us - as if we didn't know - that @andyburnham is a dirty dirty misinformation spewing LIAR. youtube.com/watch?v=ZUyfqBlL…

It's wild that @StarbucksUK have a bacon roll, a sausage roll but haven't figured the leap to selling a sausage AND bacon roll yet..

Andy Burnham lied on a podcast We all saw him lie. Then in the House of Commons, he lied about lying. He cannot stay PM.

Two leftists die and go to Heaven. The first asks God, “God, did Russia interfere in the Brexit referendum?” God replies, “No, the British people just don’t like immigration.” One looks at the other and says “This goes higher up than we thought”
Andy Burnham becomes first PM to confirm Russian interference in Brexit referendum @campbellclaret and @RoryStewartUK's exclusive interview with @andyburnham on tomorrow's episode of Leading is out in full at midnight.

The deep state here, proving they are the absolute kings of misinformation and lies - and how dangerous they are to voters. They will stop at nothing. Our security services have already stated publicly this is nonsense. We get Burnham's that one guy at Downing Street.

To be clear they did a deal over this in June - but rumour has it that it has resurfaced again. The exact same thing is happening across the entire workforce and the claim that British people don't want to do the jobs is a total, complete and pure, evil, outright LIE.

You can't spend billions training people to do the jobs and then refuse to hire them and hire unqualified people from abroad - on purpose - it is *insane*.
And just like that, white men are back in adverts.

Zia Yusuf is the only person in Reform who has responded to these protests appropriately. We should be disgusted by the politicians facilitating the invasion of our country by men they know are rapists, rather than the parents and patriots taking peaceful but unprecedented steps to stop it.
🚨NEW: Danny Tommo, leader of "Patriot Platform", has reached out to Zia Yusuf requesting he send a message back to Nigel Farage asking him not to slander their members carrying out protests, making clear they are a peaceful group Zia Yusuf agreed to speak to Nigel Farage

Angela Rayner must come clean. Why did her department delete every response submitted to the Working Group’s consultation on its proposed Islamophobia definition? Were extremist groups given an opportunity to influence the new “anti-Muslim hostility” definition? Why did the department conclude that this key information — potentially integral to reviving Britain’s blasphemy laws for Islam alone — was of no historical importance? The public deserves to know the truth.
There’s a cover-up. Extremists almost certainly influenced Labour's "Islamophobia" definition. But ministers have deleted the evidence. It’s a clear breach of their own rules on keeping important records. And possibly the ministerial code.
