Here are the games I've beaten in 2025. I've never bothered making a list on Twitter because I'll probably forget about it. But we'll see.

After finishing DK Land, last night, I'm moving on to TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan.
I know it isn't a Game Boy game, but I had to play a little of this just for fun. First game over in stage 3, and I just can't play this version. Constantly hitting the wrong buttons.
Still, I'll probably play it some more, lol. I love Castlevania.
I love this music. I can already tell I'm playing a game I'll remember for years to come.

In 2007 I seriously considered dropping home consoles and just having handhelds.
The DS and PSP were just that good.
Unfortunate news about Ninja Theory. I wasn't super familiar with their work but I suddenly feel like going back to Heavenly Sword and DmC.
Never finished either one.
I've never liked how DK Land controls but I've always liked the game despite that flaw.
Completely new levels and original themes, lots of new mechanics and tweaks to existing ones.
It's not a masterpiece, like the SNES games, but it doesn't need to be.
I think we should always be prepared for bad news at the moment. We've still got $1000+ consoles just over the horizon.
That being said, doesn't really matter what the news is, people find a way to be outraged.
This week I'm sticking to Game Boy games, Etrian Odyssey HD, and maybe Wolverine at the weekend. Going to be slow going, with very little free time, but I should manage a bit of grinding in Etrian, and a few levels of DK Land per night.
Delays getting home today, work tomorrow and then a horrible week of overtime next week. I'm going to savour Sunday, and hopefully a bit of Saturday.
Too tired for Wolverine tonight, probably just a little Etrian Odyssey and Game Boy.
What's everyone playing this Halloween season? Keeping up my Gameboy marathon, I'll be doing Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare and Avenging Spirit, and hopefully Gargoyle's Quest at the very least.

I'm sure work will crush my spirit soon but 2 hours in and I still feel good.
I'm enjoying this. I've only ever played a little of one of the 3DS titles so I knew roughly what I was getting into.
I'm really digging the music, logically it's a throwback to PC-88 or PC-98 audio, but it's close enough to a Mega Drive sound that it feels comfortably nostalgic
I went with the quickest and easiest first, Super Mario Land.
It's been a long time since I last played this but it was still easy enough to blast through in around 40 minutes.
The shooting levels aren't quite as good as I remembered them, but overall it was a fun time.
Ah, so they ruined it in hopes they could let FF7 rest, gotcha 😂

Yoshinori Kitase says when they finished OG FF7 they thought they were done, but fan reaction brought about the spin-off works. He says FF7 Revelation is the end of the FF7 Remake series, but they do not know what could happen with fan reaction after it ends.
