URGENT: RESPECT THE HIGH COURT'S ORDER — BARAMULLA, J&K (INDIA) The Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, by its order dated 8 October 2026, directed that the impugned order of the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, shall not be given effect to during the specified period. Despite this protection, revenue officials (Naib Tehsildar, Pattan, Baramulla) reportedly arrived at disputed land for demarcation. The process remained incomplete following a confrontation between the parties. More concerningly, the Naib Tehsildar reportedly claimed that the High Court document was merely an “application” and not an order. Does a public official not have a duty to understand and respect judicial directions? We request that this statement and the circumstances be examined by the competent authorities. Their family respectfully call upon @narendramodi, @AmitShah, @manojsinha_, @OmarAbdullah, @RuhullahMehdi and @DCBaramulla to ensure that the Court’s directions are respected and the incident is urgently examined. No official is above the law, and court orders must be respected. If the facts establish wilful disobedience of the High Court’s order, They reserve their right to seek appropriate legal remedies, including contempt proceedings, before the competent court. They seek accountability, due process and justice—not confrontation.
