Cyberattack on France’s national blood service (EFS) via its refrigeration contractor Coolworld. Hackers reset freezers keeping blood donor samples at -30°C to a target of 110°C. The thing that stopped it from destructive impact was an on-call technician who noticed the temperatures going up. Frozen plasma intended for transfusion was stored there too. Fortunately nothing was destroyed. This was a cyberattack on a sensitive layer of healthcare. From frozen peas to boiling plasma in three weeks...?

🇩🇪🇪🇺L'Allemagne continue son réarmement nationaliste, sans la moindre coordination européenne.
Après avoir sous-investi pendant des années dans son armée, l'Allemagne a brusquement décidé, en 2024, de se réarmer compulsivement en ne faisant appel qu'aux entreprises nationales.
Quitte à rompre de nombreux contrats et projets européens : annulation d'une commande de six frégates au néerlandais Damen Naval, alors que les constructions avaient déjà commencé ; retrait du projet d'avion de combat SCAF et de char MGCS ; opposition à la constellation européenne IRIS2 de satellites basse orbite...
Ce nationalisme industriel est une honte en soi (surtout quand on se rappelle que la France a mis fin au contrat FAMAS pour les HK allemands, sans jamais recevoir la moindre commande de son "partenaire").
Mais encore plus préoccupant : l'Allemagne compte renforcer toutes ses branches (terre, marine...), alors qu'il serait judicieux de favoriser une spécialisation à l'échelle européenne, en fonction des avantages comparatifs de chacun.
Par exemple : le naval et l'aviation pour la France, les blindés pour l'Allemagne, l'infanterie pour la Pologne.
Ce n'est que logique : aucun pays n'est au niveau de la France en matière de technologies navales et aéronautiques. À l'inverse, l'Allemagne a de sérieux arguments en matière de chars.
Mais non, l'Allemagne a décidé de dépenser dans sa marine sans compter. Et surtout sans compter sur ses alliés.
Ses ambitions « Zielbild Marine 2035+ » profiteront aux "champions" allemands TKMS et Rheinmetall.
Le réarmement allemand fait fi de tous ses partenaires, et ne répond à aucune logique européenne.
L'Allemagne privilégie soit son industrie nationale, soit des fournisseurs américains, plutôt que de construire une véritable base industrielle et technologique de défense européenne intégrée.
Son objectif est-il vraiment de dissuader la Russie, ou d'écraser ses partenaires pour devenir le champion européen de l'export d'armements ?
