Today the team have been addressing illegal and inconsiderate parking on Morvale gardens Lye whilst drivers visited the local mosque. Please be respectful to residents and park legally. Tickets will be sent in the post.

Yesterday the team were at King Edward VI College speaking to the students about keeping themselves safe during darker nights and handing out crime prevention material. Thank you King Edwards students for your engagement

Today the team together with WMP Road Harm Team ran a Fatal4 operation. Aiming to reduce road deaths, prevent serious injuries, and make roads safer by targeting the four main causes of serious road collisions, speeding, Dink drive, mobile phone use and none wearing of seatbelts
Op location: Stourbridge Ring Road Birmingham Street,11 drivers were dealt with at the roadside for offences including illegal window tints, speeding and driving without insurance.
A further 45 drivers will receive their penalties by post. Evening ops planned

Great response to our Crime Prevention Stall as part of Op . Alliance 3
This focused on vehicle crime with us able to distribute Faraday pouches purchased with assets seized from proceeds of crime .
Thursday 1st of October we will be in the Ryemarket Stourbridge from 10 am as part of Op Alliance 3 .
This relates to vehicle offences and we have crime prevention items to distribute .
If you have any other issues you wish to discuss , please come down and see us .
Please don't park in taxi bays on the hight steet,Stourbridge. It forces the taxis further down the Road causing obsructions

The education around E-scooters continues.
Privatley owned E-scooters are classed as a motor vehicle.They require a driving licence and insurance but because neither can be obtained for private models,riding them in public breaks the law.

Today the team ran a speed operation on the ring road. Several vehicles processed at the time and many will be receiving letters in the post. We have to do this particular operation it in the day light and we do need to be visible.

A great project which helps with the issues around Schools at drop off times .
We continue to patrol at these times engaging with both pupils and parents .
Tonight the team have been in the town ensuring eveyone is safe and enforcing traffic infringements.
Some vehicles have reminders and some will be receiving fines via the post for parking offences and popping and banging down the high street and the ring road

Stourbridge NHT Officers have been out on foot, Tackling the issues raised of night time in Stourbridge.
Drop-in police surgery held yesterday @ Starbucks (Sainsburys) Amblecote. Discussions around electric scooters -leaflets have been left at the store for info around the law. Parents/carers, please ensure your child is not riding around on these in public places!!!

We are now working in partnership with DVLA which will enable us to remove more illegal cars from our streets .
