Here’s my chat with @WithSherman! We talked a lot about Community, some more about the rest of TV, and I continued to do a mediocre job of promoting my podcast. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Finally started watching Abbott Elementary. My takeaway: more people need to watch Scrubs.

I know I’m not the first person to make this comp, but seriously: • Wide-eyed, lesson-learning newbie • Hardened mentor with a heart of gold • Antagonistic boss • Literally the exact same janitor

1. Season 1 does decent 2. Want better ratings 3. Dan gets fired 4. Dan gets rehired 5. Community gets cancelled 6. Network ratings are still down 7. They pick up the movie 8. I hope?

It’s only my style to be secret, please bring me five can of #polls. It’s 2015 and you just finished season 6 for the first time. When do you think the movie will be released? (Also: what do you think now?) #Community #podcast #sixseasonsandamovie #andamovie

And it’ll be my first time seeing some #Community content live (or the streaming equivalent of live)—excited to see our fans that I’ve read and written and talked so much about react to it as it actually happens instead of 5 years down the road lol Anything I should expect?

Always always always turn to @communiess first when this type of news breaks At least this time it was Dan saying something and not some random blogger
Communies@communiess22 Aug 2022
I'm going to say this over and over but you need to see the word, "script." Until it exists, it's far away, 2024 far away at the earliest. When you see it exists, the main cast is mostly locked in and scheduling is next. The Newsweek article is good news & progress. #andamovie

This is why I love full-length seasons: MF probably spend 16-17 episodes/yr using a classic formula (A/B/C plot w/ 2/3 characters), which made the out-of-the-box episodes feel special
shadon@pvrekhs13 Aug 2022
modern family has so many creative episodes for a sitcom, like the one where everyone has a 5 minute segment, the one shot all on a macbook, the one where everyone sneaks into the house phil is selling, etc
