We couldn’t agree more @Jared_grierson, and we absolutely pay Rights to use the creators’ work on our resource. It is a huge issue that needs more focus to educate those within the industry and externally.
An amazing result. Humbled to be a part of this generous, supportive and imaginative industry.

Going to have to override you on this one @BarneyBindi - as we speak, a book package is getting put together for you😃
A huge thank you to @DisyLouise and @BarneyBindi for your understanding, enthusiasm and donations, and to everyone for your support of #authorsforfireys. We're honoured and humbled to have been able to support the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
In our excitement, we incorrectly identified the winner of Item 1. Our official winner is @DisyLouise at $410 🙌 But we're happy to share the news that we've put together a second package of book hope for the bid entered after the 11pm cut off by @BarneyBindi 📚
*Another exciting update* some of our storytellers and creators will be providing extra bits and pieces for Item 1. @AuraParker has just popped a print into the mix, Michael Wagner has donated an extra book (Pig Dude!) and @TaniaMcCartney is putting in a little extra something.
We’re coming back from our @twitter hiatus to join #authorsforfireys with two items up for auction.
Reply with either ‘1’ or ‘2’ and your bid! Auction ends 11pm Saturday, with all proceeds going to @cfavic.
*UPDATE* if the winning bid for our Storyteller opportunity (2) needs to travel to for filming, our library partners
@JamesBennettAu will donate funds to assist in getting airfares to and providing accommodation in Melbourne!
