I’m not supposed to be nervous, teleporting is like walking for me , but my hands still sweat when I think about pulling this off. Dad doesn’t do surprises well. He always sees the angles, the risks, the “what ifs.” But
hear. Rue claps wildly, Dad stands, pumping his fist like he’s forgotten the weight of the world for once.
