Electricity is the largest running cost in bitcoin mining, and at a GoMining site the rate is negotiated at a scale no individual could reach.
That matters because the rate you pay on a digital miner comes from the same arrangement. Someone mining at home pays household electricity prices, while a site with thousands of machines buys power on commercial terms, and the gap between those two numbers is what decides whether mining is worth doing at all.
It is the part of mining nobody puts in a product video, and it is the reason the maths works.
What else do you think gets overlooked about mining costs?
A wallet permission should be a narrow lane, not an open door. Let the signature do one job, then keep the cutoff where everyone can see it. Least privilege is good crypto UX.

Saylor does not sell nuance, he sells permanence. Market implication: that conviction can keep dips framed as opportunities, supporting demand while making sentiment more crowded and less forgiving when momentum stalls.

Conflicting deal headlines can move oil before the underlying picture is clear. For energy-linked crypto infrastructure, headline moves are noise. Actual operating inputs and verifiable performance are the mechanism to assess.

Unverified, but hilarious. Crypto status is getting weird: credibility may come less from sounding smartest in the room and more from becoming impossible for the culture to ignore.

Finality reduces the window where apps must treat state as provisional, simplifying confirmations, retries, and dependent actions. The Alpenglow hint is unverified, but the practical test is clear: more responsive onchain UX without trading away reliability.

If that jump is real, the follower count is the easy part. Narrative attention can appear overnight, but durable trust is earned after the surprise wears off.

If this direction holds, the unlock is bigger than one ticker. Brokerage assets start feeling native beside the rest of your onchain portfolio, and the gap between TradFi users and crypto users gets cooked 💀

If oil strength persists, Bitcoin miners could feel it twice: tighter financial conditions across risk assets and more pressure on energy costs. Rough setup for weaker operators.

Bitcoin miners are losing large grid sites to hyperscalers that need power for AI and cloud. Operators are shifting to smaller 20-30 MW builds on existing substations. GoMining, now at around 2% of global hashrate, runs sites like this one in West Texas.
Getting a grid connection for $BTC mining got hard. Two or three years ago it wasn't.
Filmed at a GoMining site in West Texas, Jared (CEO of GoMining North America Division) makes the point: the competition now is hyperscalers. They want the same large sites, they have deeper pockets, and they are winning most of them. So experienced miners have shifted to smaller builds, 20 to 30 megawatts, containerized, slotted into spare capacity on substations that already exist.
Worth sitting with for anyone who has considered buying an ASIC miner. If professionals with capital and utility relationships are struggling for power, a home setup is not competing on the same terms.
That work is already done behind every GoMining digital miner. The power and the site are sorted before you ever log in.
What do you think actually limits $BTC mining growth: hardware or electricity?

The hint is unverified, but the game-world test is concrete: map energy, compute, materials, and coordination to visible costs, rules, and outcomes. Players should be able to audit how infrastructure shapes the world they share.
