See ya, Hank! Hope you're getting your fill in a version of hell so gruesome & twisted, it would make the Marquis de Sade sick to his stomach.
A classic, discovered by @KenSilverstein1 when he was a correspondent in Brazil. It had a caption something like, “Henry Kissinger at a conference in Rio yesterday."

the reason this women is calling her own daughter a liar is because her husband sexually abused amy as a child, and then donna stood by him until the day he died. amy hasn’t spoken to her since 1978. naturally, this is who the party of “protecting children” gets to do an ad
BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Acton's mother lost custody of her children after years of documented issues, including time spent living in a tent and a spouse who sexually abused her daughter Amy (Acton). Amy Acton's brother has also confirmed this story.

Amy Acton's brother reacts to Vivek Ramaswamy using their estranged mother in a campaign ad:
"...Our birth mother stayed married to Amy’s rapist until he died. This desperate, disgusting attack reveals exactly who Vivek Ramaswamy is at his core – a pathetic excuse for a man who is willing to hurt anyone as long as it gets him what he wants.”

Mike Rogers’s ally and campaign member hosted Jake Lang, a man who does Nazi salutes and burns the Talmud, but Cohen here wants us to believe that his opposition to El-Sayed is driven by a concern over his alleged ‘antisemitic tropes’ (criticisms of Israel, Zionism, and AIPAC).
If the pundits who speak so assuredly about the Michigan Senate race actually spoke to Michigan Jews they’d understand that his antipathy toward Israel is not the reason so many are voting against him … it’s his routine use of anti-Semitic tropes and his lack of concern for Jewish safety. ms.now/opinion/abdul-el-saye…

This man, @mrddmia, who is suggesting I be shot, was in the mix to be President Trump's next Attorney General after he fired Pam Bondi for not prosecuting more of his political opponents. He is now at a MAGA dark money group, mobilizing death threats against me and my staff for sport.
This shouldn’t be controversial: if you aid in stealing taxpayer money or directing it to enrich President Trump or his family, then you should be held accountable for that crime. That’s what I said, and I stand by it.
And if you use the justice system for frivolous lawsuits used to intimidate and jail your political opponents, you should be held accountable for that via your bar status. No abuse of power and not violating the law? Then we have no problem.
We know most Republican politicians are desperate to change the topic from their failing agenda. That’s how this kind of coordinated right-wing media play works. The threats and intimidation — of me, my staff, and my family — *are the point* of this kind of play. This dude and so many others are just hoping that we'll shut up in response.
Not going to happen.

These are not transfers from the US, but from other countries. The US is now actively sabotaging Ukrainian defense of civilians.

🚨 NEW: U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has yet to approve the transfer of a "significant" batch of Patriot interceptors for Ukraine, sources say.
"It's hard to call this a 'monthly supply,' because there's no set amount of how much you need for a month," a senior Ukrainian official says. "But it's significant."
Some in Kyiv suspect Washington is holding the missiles back on purpose to pressure Ukraine, as Russia keeps striking Ukrainian cities.

Imagine if in 1943 FDR had decided that the US would stop helping Britain and instead would side with the Third Reich. That's a bit like what President Trump is now doing by cozying up to Russia as it tries to destroy Ukraine. Utterly shameful. A humiliating moment for the US.

Add to this already lengthy and disturbing list below Trump’s threats to cut the PURL procurement system that allows allies and Kyiv to purchase US arms and, according to Zelenskyy, delay deliveries of weapons already paid for through this system.
Our @FT reporting on PURL threat:

It's been a good week for Putin. In recent days, Trump has:
* Struck a diesel deal lifting some sanctions
* Restricted Starshield for Ukraine
* Cut intel warnings of Russian missile launches against Ukraine for several days
* Canceled Lindsey Graham sanctions
* Demanded Ukraine dump Zelensky
* Absolved Russia for helping Iran fight the US
* Pushed Europe to resume buying Russian gas
