In a rare decision, a federal judge has ruled against two RPD officers accused of using excessive force in a 2015 arrest, in a summary judgment. Judge Elizabeth Wolford determined no reasonable juror could see their actions as justified. wxxinews.org/local-news/2024…

Don’t ever talk to me about how Black people aren’t owed reparations because no one alive has suffered what the reparations are for. These survivors for more than a century have stubbornly refused to die, only to be denied justice again and again. That is despite the fact that the state of Oklahoma’s own task force recommended reparations. When it comes to descendants of slavery, this country has always engaged in the tactic of delay until death. That is why reparations MUST include descendants. What is the statute of limitations on crimes against humanity?

Horrifying story. State police and prosecutors swept aside credible accusations of repeated sexual abuse by one of their own. He continued to abuse children for years afterwards.

Winzinzent Rozaro was 19 years old. He reportedly called 911 for help. Instead, police officers - who were not mental health professionals - killed him while he was in a mental health crisis. Reaching out for support should not have fatal consequences. nydailynews.com/2024/03/27/n…

Anytime you hear a “rise in crime” or “spike in shootings,” remember: whatever they claim, it’s happening despite investing most on policing in the history of the world. A brutal indictment of the efficacy of policing. Yet police are using their failures to get even more?

You really can’t overstate how brutally out of control policing is in the US.
WARNING: GRAPHIC ⚠️ A police officer in Delaware has been arrested for assaulting a 15-year-old and fracturing his orbital socket. Dempsey Walters, 29, turned off his body cam before striking a child who was handcuffed in the back of a car, but it still recorded the video.
