For generations, Pueblo and Tribal Nations have lived, hunted, gathered, and prayed in New Mexico's Chaco Canyon.
Today, it has been officially protected from new oil and gas leasing, a huge step forward on our Administration's historic land and water conservation agenda.
By protecting Chaco Canyon, a sacred place that holds deep meaning for the Indigenous peoples whose ancestors have called this place home since time immemorial, we are living up to our commitments to Indian Country.

He grew up without a father—his had died when he was 2, in 1929 as the country spiraled into crisis. Somehow he still figured out how to be a father, one who taught quietly about values and service to country. Deeply grateful.
A terrific piece, with great video, on giving wildlife room to roam.

Many of the jobs proposed in #BuildBackBetter will put people to work on our public lands and waters, leaving them better off than we found them. A good take from @jacob_fischler
