It’s #StomaAwarenessDay 💜
In 2020, I had no idea what the next few years would bring.
Plenty of operations, setbacks and difficult days along the way, but my stoma also gave me my life back.
6 years later, medically retired from policing an starting a completely new chapter.
Well, that’s me done. 👮♂️

Officers face relentless trauma, but support is inconsistent. Recording suicides must become mandatory.
