Fingers crossed that maybe space is getting less hard.
Our new booster engine, Northstar, was built from the ground up by a scrappy team focused on weight, cost, manufacturability, and performance. More than 65% of the engine is additively manufactured using our in-house 3D printing capability. Northstar can be assembled in less than a day and produces 715,000 pounds of thrust.

Huge announcements today from @NASA with REAL plans for “Moon Base” and doing some clever things with existing hardware like reusing Curiosity / Perseverance Rover hardware to build a moon rover named “Promise”! TONS of big contracts too!!! It’s happening! @NASAAdmin

A step toward keeping Moon Base connected. NASA has selected @SpaceX for the Cislunar Communications Deployment Demonstration (C2D2). Targeted for 2028, the Starship mission will demonstrate launch and spacecraft deployment capabilities that could help inform future lunar communications networks connecting astronauts, mission controllers and Moon Base.

[🇫🇷 version FR👇] 💪 I exercised every day in space, pushed myself hard and feel like I came back stronger than ever! But strength is only part of the story. Without gravity constantly pulling on our bodies, our muscles and tendons are used differently, which can lead to changes not only in muscle mass and strength, but also in the way our muscles, tendons and nervous system work together. Sarcolab-3 looks at muscle volume and architecture, strength and power, tendon stiffness, as well as how muscles are activated and controlled by the nervous system, including reflex responses 🦵. Measurements were taken before launch, and the first post-flight measurements took place within days of splashdown, at the @DLR_en Institute of Aerospace Medicine located next to the European Astronaut Centre (EAC) in Cologne, Germany. What we learn from studying how bodies adapt to space can be useful well beyond spaceflight. By helping us better understand muscle loss and recovery, Sarcolab-3 could contribute to research into ageing, prolonged inactivity and recovery from injury here on Earth, while also helping us improve training and rehabilitation for future astronauts. Go science! 🔬 #εpsilon • @esaspaceflight • @ESA_fr

Apollo legend astronaut Charlie Duke was the first astronaut I ever met, back when I was in high school. He answered my eager questions and even replied to my typewritten letter. I still have it and even brought it along on my first mission to the @Space_Station! Thanks for the inspiration Charlie - wonderful to see you at @NASA Max Power! nasa.gov/maxpower/

I've watched Team Blue pour years into building the systems that make lunar permanence a reality. Today @NASA recognized that work with multiple Moon Base program awards. I couldn’t be prouder of this team.

[🇫🇷 version FR👇] Flashback to the soundtrack of EVA-99 prep last August: tools gently clinking together, like chimes in the breeze. 🔔 For me it feels like it was yesterday… but since then, the Expedition 75 crewmates have already performed EVA-100 and EVA-101! Congrats to the @Space_Station teams for these 2 successful EVAs! Well done, teams! #εpsilon • @esaspaceflight • @ESA_fr
