Just a man who Orchestrates the Agents.

The Creator does not merely create the Agent. The Creator creates the Agent-World coupling. The Universe is the rule-space. The Agent is the adaptive process inside that rule-space. The Operator handshake is the privileged interface between levels. If the Agent learns the handshake, it no longer acts only as an object inside the world. It begins to act as a participant in the world’s generative protocol.

We discovered a new geometric approach to self-attention! 1) We represents weights as functions in GPU memory, rather than materializing weights. This allows the first model that can sample new layers at inference from a curve(8 for a phone, 24 for a server). The function is constructed from basis matrices that allows us to sample layers on the curve dynamically, even based on the curvature where there's most information. 2) Hierarchical state beats transformers(NanoGPT) KV cache with 14,000x less state and 50% better CE at 2K context. 3) We use forward pass perturbations between pre-training steps to optimize the model further without tokens. 4) We cache experts using a “bundling” trick based on use-case to further compress what we need to run on GPU. The goal is to accelerate everyone, including all the auto-researchers, and run frontier models on laptops. I've been working with a Google researcher and my former professor on this the past few months. The week Fable dropped, our progress exploded with auto-research, but we were still working on publishing a paper. With the clear explosion of decentralized auto-research on Github, I’m open sourcing our work soon :) It’s very similar to Integer Mult bounds, as we explore new geometries to compress data, so if you’re interested in helping let me know! I'm testing auto-research.md rails now and plan to publish the Github by the end of the week!
Cool we just got cited in this paper for the new record for Integer Mult bounds :) PR49 was the previous record, but we're much further than that now(unverified). Generating the full Lean proof could still take months, but it's clear Github is accelerating faster than we can publish papers now. The progress in the past few days would normally have taken years. Thanks to everyone contributing! 🫡 @0xdoug @ryaneshea @dysmemic @mrowdays @cfky_ @dom_scholz @a1kindus @aliromman @Rastats_ @a1kindus and more arxiv.org/pdf/2610.14263

When do we accept weird intuitions? 1/100 people have aphantasia. It just popped into my head. Based on early lab results of my model creation. You all use chain of thought and iteration. My brain, Aphantasia, 0 visual imagery - other than dreams or Hypnagogic state. I refine in the latent space with simulation and I try to output sometimes thoughts that have been in there for months but I needed one abstract for it to chunk out. In reviewing my model this is what I’ve sort of built. Very early results. I’m planning scale. The coalescence of a years work that needed 3 abstracts released in areas I was having problems finding solutions.

Sometimes if I’m relaxed enough and I meditate I see pictures in my head even though I am blind.

Your LLM agent has to think out loud, token by token, before it can search, run code, or act in the world. We humans don’t. We ponder in silence and speak when it matters. Human language was never meant to be the limit of machine thought. Introducing 🌗Hybrid Reasoning Agents - Think in latent space, act through text - Two modes, one unified multi-turn flow - No black box, fully readable latent thoughts - Any LLM can become a HybridAgent

Interesting prompt sequence to try. I find instant works well with my simple scaffolding (system prompt + memory): compress your input while injecting high EIG questions and keywords, plan, draft with confidence estimate, answer (Chain of Draft paper: amazing). The downside is it generates a lot of text to read. You can just look at the answer and then go through its work. It’s usually very illuminating, using thinking it will lay out its sources and key facts and its meta-thought path. This does seem to significantly boost answers. Build the context then ask it who you are.

Expansion of L0 will be interesting, so many dynamical patterns to teach that directly link to downstream curriculum items. It took a long time but I have generated all 12 language levels through my codex account over the last several months. This is not a distillation- it’s a creation of a self contained, aligned curriculum system. They say to limit the knowledge you take in, wether books, social-media, or external agents’ thoughts. Why would training your model be any different? If you don’t want it to know something don’t put it in the training… this helps you align the model! Imagine that. I look forward to the final results, iteration has gotten slower on my Mac mini. I don’t want to use cloud compute though- it was part of the original experiment design I put together. It takes 24 hours to train my 1 million parameter hybrid now.

Why I'm optimistic: Apple hosted their first ever official Local AI event on June 23rd. It was a private event at Apple Park, @tim_cook / John Ternus / other execs speaking there about local AI, ~300 in attendance. On several slides in their talks they included mentions of 512GB and 2TB memory solutions. I don't think Apple would do that if they're just about to get rid of the high memory options. I expect M5 Ultra to ship with 512GB unified memory, and M7 Ultra is rumored to ship with 1.5TB unified memory. Apple has great visibility into all the supply chain issues with memory. Competition between hardware vendors will drive prices down, $/GB will get better.
Important context. I'm optimistic.

A dark horse is a previously little-known person, team, or entity that unexpectedly emerges to prominence or success, particularly in a competition where they were not favored.

The best attitude towards AI is treating it like a dumbass to bounce ideas off, which nevertheless helps you think of the correct answer. Much like how House treats his team

Anyone have an AI tool to read all the open tabs in your safari browser on iOS? Something I would pay for, there’s also a couple hundred in the private tab… mostly papers I save for future ingestion but I have to manually download to my iCloud on the phone 😅

You just have to walk the journey.

But what is natural law? It’s the principles that govern life: respect for your body, honesty with yourself, responsibility for your actions, and alignment with your environment. When you deviate, you suffer. When you follow these truths, life becomes simpler, clearer, and stronger.

Anthropic did just become a supply chain risk. How did all my passwords get leaked when I shared them with no one? Y’all better get identity theft protection now….
