75 Stories for 75 Years | A Ride I'll Never Forget Early in my career at Stiles, when I was an Estimator and only two or three years out of school, we were developing a corporate park in Palm Beach County. One afternoon, Terry Stiles and two of his partners needed to visit that development, along with a couple of other properties under construction in Broward County. With limited time and several scheduling commitments, Terry rented a four-seat helicopter so they could make all the stops. As it happened, I was at the Palm Beach County project for an on-site meeting. I had caught a ride up from the office with a few colleagues and was planning to ride back with them after they finished another meeting. Somehow, Terry heard about this and came over to ask me, "Have you ever flown in a helicopter before?" My answer, of course, was "No." He said, "Then why don't you jump in and fly back with us? And by the way, take the front seat. I'll sit with our partner in the back since this is your first time in a helicopter." I was stunned by that extremely kind gesture. Heck, I'm just a kid from Hialeah, for crying out loud! But what I remember most wasn't just the helicopter ride. During the short flight back, as we talked through our headsets, Terry was far more interested in asking how my wife and child were doing (we only had one of our three children at the time) than discussing anything about the project. That memory is still as clear in my mind today as it was on the day we were flying. Even as I write this, it still affects me. To me, that simple, genuine gesture is an example of what ultimately makes Stiles the company that it is. Timothy O. Moore | President, Stiles Construction #75Stories #Stiles75

75 Stories for 75 Years | More Than a Place to Work When I joined Stiles 11 years ago, I was entering a meaningful chapter of my life. Little did I know how much this company would become a part of my journey. Over the years, Stiles has been there for me through so many moments of growth and change, both professionally and personally. I've been fortunate to have mentors like George Boué and Grace Marie Hernandez, whose guidance and encouragement have helped shape my career. What has meant the most to me is the genuine support I've received from my colleagues and executive leadership. Through different stages of life, I've always felt surrounded by people who care, encourage one another and want to see each other succeed. For me, Stiles has always been more than just a place to work. It's a place where I've felt supported, valued and encouraged to grow, not only as a professional, but as a person. And after 11 years, that's what makes Stiles so special to me. Dafne Ciraco, SHRM-SCP | Talent Manager | 11 Years #75Stories #Stiles75

75 Stories for 75 Years | Some Things Never Change Looking back on the earlier part of my career, I was fortunate to work alongside people like Terry, Doug, Steve, Trish and Jim, a team that helped build Stiles into an industry icon. Today, working closely with Ken, Scott, Rocco, Jeff, Bob and Tom has been just as rewarding as we've taken the company to new heights. As I reflect on my 31 years at Stiles, I realize that while many things have changed, the things that matter most have remained the same: a family feel, people who genuinely care about each other and their work, and Terry's original vision, passion and drive to succeed. Those are the qualities that have made Stiles such a special place to work. I cherish the memories we've made over the years and look forward to making many more. I'm truly proud of Stiles, the people who make it what it is today, and everything this company represents. Robert Esposito, CPA | 31 Years #75Stories #Stiles75

75 Stories for 75 Years | My Day with the Boss Mike Miller, Vice President, Stiles Tenant Project Management A few years ago, I was fortunate to spend a day fishing with Terry Stiles in the Keys. We began by searching for bait, which was nowhere to be found. Terry was determined to fish, so we made the rounds, stopping at several tackle spots on the water until we finally got lucky. That part of the day was comical. The conversation throughout the day was unforgettable. From joking with people at the docks to listening to Terry share his knowledge of the waterways, tides and small islands, we laughed, talked about our families and shared personal reflections. Terry’s presence, wisdom and leadership left a lasting impression on me. That day was meaningful not only because of who he was professionally, but because of the way he made people feel valued, heard and inspired. He turned a simple day on the water to an unforgettable few hours I will cherish my whole life. #75Stories #Stiles75

75 Stories for 75 Years | Built to Last When Victoria Leet joined Stiles in September 2008 at just 27 years old, she was entering the real estate industry at one of the most uncertain times imaginable. The financial and housing crisis was unfolding, and the future of real estate was anything but certain. But what Victoria witnessed at Stiles was a company that kept moving forward. Even during those challenging years, Stiles established new business and completed projects that many thought would never get off the ground, including Centra Townhomes in Boca Raton. For Victoria, it was an early lesson in the grit and fortitude that have defined Stiles throughout its history. In the 18 years since, she has seen the company navigate other defining moments, from the passing of Terry Stiles to the uncertainty of COVID, while also celebrating milestones like the completion of #TheMainLasOlas. Through it all, Victoria has continued to grow and learn alongside the company. “I am proud to have been part of Stiles through so many chapters of its history.” 75 years aren't built without challenges. They're built by finding a way forward, together. #75Stories #Stiles75

75 Stories for 75 Years | Family Comes First When Robert Breslau reflected on Stiles’ 75th anniversary, he realized something remarkable: he has been part of the company for nearly half of its history. Over those years, Robert has seen firsthand the hard work, grit and perseverance that built Stiles. But one memory in particular captures something just as important: the value the company has always placed on its people and their families. Years ago, when Robert’s sons were young, Terry Stiles called him to discuss an important upcoming project just as Robert was heading out to coach his son’s baseball game. Robert told Terry they could talk and that the kids could wait. Terry’s response was immediate: “No, that time with your kids is way more important than talking about it now.” The business conversation could wait until the next day. That moment stayed with Robert. For a company that has spent 75 years building communities, some of the most meaningful lessons have had nothing to do with buildings. As Robert looks ahead, he is proud to see the Stiles family continuing the principles that shaped the company from the beginning, including the belief that success matters, but so do the people and families behind it. And Robert plans to stick around for the next milestone. As he put it, he hopes to attend Stiles’ 100th anniversary, even if he has to show up with a walker. #75Stories #Stiles75

Great news for the City of #WiltonManors! Stiles and New Urban Communities Corp. is pleased to share that the City has unanimously approved our proposed redevelopment of the #ShoppesofWiltonManors. The approved plan reflects a significantly scaled-back vision for the property compared with the plan previously approved under the former ownership. Our project will bring 89 for-sale residences and nearly 52,000 square feet of retail space along Wilton Drive, creating new opportunities for residential ownership and long-term investment in the community. By reducing the density and overall scale of the previously approved plan, the project has been thoughtfully designed to better complement the surrounding neighborhood while supporting the continued vitality of #WiltonDrive. We appreciate the City, community members and project partners who worked collaboratively to bring a project forward that will enhance the WM lifestyle and bring more amenities to the Drive. We look forward to embarking on this next chapter of the Shoppes of Wilton Manors!
