It is a nice day so I am sitting on the patio enjoying the breeze. I decided to play a little nostalgic music. BJ Thomas, Captain and Tennille, Heart, etc. For some reason I decided to play In the Year 2525 and really focus on the lyrics. Zager and Evans were somewhat prophetic. That song is from 1969. They just missed it by 500 years. Compress those lyrics into the next 25 years.

I bought a really nice Moen kitchen faucet. Voice activated. The works. It even has an automatic drip feature that starts a trickle if the temperature in the cabinet space under the sink drops below 40° (or something like that) to prevent frozen pipes. Looks good on paper. Other than this automatic feature, it is impossible to make this thing drip. Well pipes don’t freeze in the cabinet. They freeze in the wall. Bottom line is I can’t make this thing drip manually. My pipes have frozen twice as a result. I talked to one of the Moen engineers and he confirmed I was SOL because they never thought of that problem. So I came up with this. I tied into the hot water line under the sink and installed this tubing with a needle valve so I can get a drip. Not elegant but it works. Yesterday I moved a Ring cam there so I can check up on it without having to go to the kitchen. Not pretty I know. I wish I could make an Alexa routine to make an announcement if the camera detects a STOP in motion. Right now it only detects START of motion.

If I run the washing machine a second time, will it turn my shirts right side out and put my pockets back in my shorts?
