Treated ourselves at @CostaCoffee drive-thru. Was driving so didn't get a look til home. This is allegedly a whipped hazelnut frappe with semi skimmed milk, coffee but no cream. It's frothy milk with ice cubes & caramel at bottom. Gross! Son's mango frappe wasn't much better.
Never ever rent @Avis - they charge you 430 euro for a wear and tear scratch...

Flavour of #blackberry season is blackberry and anise. First lot picked and juiced yesterday, some cordial made this morning. Plenty of juice still left for the same flavour as a jam.
Today's excess electricity was turned into white chocolate cookies, American blueberry 'biscuits', and sourdough discard cheese scones. #baking
In between sourdoughing,cake baking, going to the theatre and country dog walks I made a pencil case (fabric chose by son) and a fidt bag (big enough for bottle of wine for regifting) for his singing teacher.

Took day off, to have rest. Went on substantial country dog walk, made 10 jars of jam, with everything prepped for another 5 as fruit & veg man gave me these bruised fruit free, prepped sourdough pizza dough for weekend & finished by making lemon curd sourdough rolls. Tired
Spicy roast sweet potato with chickpeas in a tahini dressing, and rocket. Yummy yummy get in my tummy.
And there's the finished product - #sourdough cinnamon rolls straight out of the oven. Can't wait have these with a cup of coffee in 15 minutes!
I am now the Queen of Sourdough! These #sourdough cinnamon rolls have just gone in the oven. Sourdough is easy, you just need to realise that you can't rush it. AND the top of the Sky box is perfect for the starter and proving.
