What will likely happen is:
Piddington will get the migrants blocked and everyone will celebrate it as a massive win.
The migrants will then be dumped in a hotel ten minutes away from a school in a working class town.
The people of Piddington will call it a day, do a victory lap and then we'll never hear from them again. They will not help when the problem is elsewhere because they do not care.
