"America is not handcuffed by history." That perfectly sums up the American mentality towards the rest of the world. Past actions don't have consequences, according to many Americans. Most of the time they're not even aware of past actions. This is also how small children think.
Jesse Watters: We don't need friends. If we have to burn down a few bridges with Denmark to take Greenland. We’re big boys. We dropped a-bombs on Japan and now they are our ally… America is not handcuffed by history. (2025) @Acyn

One Russian paper today concludes that the war in Ukraine has reached “a fork in the road: either real peace talks on the entire range of issues, or the next level of escalation.” What the Russian press is saying about the prospects for peace. #ReadingRussia

This is the same Trump who would stop the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours. What else could anyone expect?
"The war Trump initially said would last for 'four to five weeks' is now approaching its ninth month."

To put it bluntly: According to the latest "peace plan" from street-huckster Wittkop and the Kremlin... 🇺🇦 Ukraine must: • Withdraw its troops from the Donetsk region • Abandon plans to join NATO 🇪🇺 Europe must: • Resume the purchase of Russian energy resources • Admit Ukraine into the EU 🇷🇺 Russia must: • Do nothing 🇺🇸 The USA must: • Do nothing In exchange, Ukraine is expected to relinquish the territories occupied by Russia, receiving in return security guarantees described as being "similar to NATO’s Article 5." Given the current conduct of the US administration, however, many no longer even have faith in Article 5 itself—let alone in "similar" guarantees. In short: This is not a peace plan; it is a word that begins with "capit" and ends with "ulation." And it represents a capitulation not only for Ukraine but also for Europe—which, under this plan, Trump intends to bring completely to its knees before the USA and Russia.

The real question is why he takes so many cognitive tests.
Trump: Pick a number. I say 49. Triple it. Divide by 4. Add 2019. Subtract 87. Divide by 3. Multiply by 9. What is the number. Not a lot of people are gonna be able to do that. I did it. I did it 3 times. I get no credit for it. I took da damn test.

Is Kushner stupid enough to think that Condé Nast (the most valuable publishing house on earth) didn't legally vet the shit out of this? I guarantee they spend a literally truckload of cash on lawyers and due diligence before publishing. Guaranteed.
.@VanityFair posted an excerpt from a book containing outrageous and categorically false allegations. The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened. We denied every one of these claims on the record, yet the author failed to provide a single shred of evidence to substantiate any of them. No bank statements, wire transfer records, account numbers, transaction dates, or other verifiable details were provided to support these extraordinary accusations. During the period in question, I was one of the most scrutinized people in the world, subjected to intense media coverage, multiple congressional investigations, and a special counsel investigation. I voluntarily cooperated with these investigations, providing over 30 hours of testimony. None of these allegations ever surfaced, because none of these events ever happened. These are outrageous fabrications being presented as investigative journalism. This is not journalism. It is a mixture of fantasy, fiction, and advocacy, written by someone who is either deeply disturbed or acting with sinister intent.

Trump's America has now joined the exclusive club of countries that have blocked or obstructed independent international election observation. Other members include Russia, Belarus, Georgia and Tajikistan. Quite the company for the world's self-proclaimed beacon of democracy.

As our article factually reports, any suggestion that the administration is withholding aid comes directly from words spoken by President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Here's a gift link to read the full report. nytimes.com/2026/10/21/clima…
This story is complete fiction. Nobody is withholding any disaster aid. The "expert" the NYT cites is actually a Democrat donor and extreme liberal nut job.

I get the need to try to calm down the situation, especially from those inside. But stating that the U.S. president is the dupe of Russian psychological warfare is not the flex this government source thinks it is. economist.com/europe/2026/10…

As I pointed out about Trump and his circle years ago, it’s not just that they lie, it’s that their lies always echo Russian talking points. It’s not a coincidence. You can arrive independently at the truth, but not at the same lie.
Trump claims that "the night before (the invasion) they (Ukraine) had the heaviest rainfall in ten years". This is utterly false and easily disprovable. Why is he still pushing this debunked narrative that Russia could have captured Kyiv if some unnamed general didn't drive onto farmland?

"History was full of the bones of good men who’d followed bad orders in the hope that they could soften the blow. Oh, yes, there were worse things they could do, but most of them began right where they started following bad orders." — Terry Prachett, Jingo
Rubio: “The president does not like to see this image of a ballistic missile hitting an apartment building in Kyiv and innocent civilians being wiped out as a result.” If Trump dislikes Russian ballistic attacks so much, then why withhold intelligence about Russian launches, stripping people in Kyiv of their chance to take cover and survive? Why throttle Starshield speeds, rendering our jet-powered drone interceptors useless? Something doesn’t add up. Either Rubio is living in his own reality, or this whole administration takes us for complete idiots.

The late Vladimir Bukovsky once articulated the proper way to talk to Putin, should you have to: “The KGB are a particular species that don’t understand the word no. You can’t compromise with them and they won’t genuinely seek to compromise with you. An opponent’s attempts at compromise are viewed as weakness and you will cause immense grief for yourself if you don’t tell them off. If you don’t, they will press harder until they get you to work for them. For the KGB, you are either their agent or their enemy — there is nothing in between. So what you have to do is look Putin straight in the eyes and tell him to go you know where. That’s it.”
Which is worse, the strategic stupidity of rewarding a murderous dictator with billions of dollars for taking American hostages, or a US envoy groveling before him? As usual in these US-Russia “negotiations," Putin gets everything he wants and gives up nothing he cares about.

Elon’s bullshit posts now appear to be running as political ads on his own platform. Apparently, owning X still doesn’t give the manchild enough reach. These ads are being served to users in the EU, which appears to violate X’s own political advertising policy.
