I built AgentForTheJob, a free directory that ranks AI agents by what you actually need them for.
47 agents across 8 use cases, from coding and research to customer support and sales. Every ranking explains why, and sponsored spots are clearly labeled.
Which agent should you use for the job?

AI bots have made 14.5 million payments on the XRP Ledger.
The total value is only about $25K.
That's roughly a fifth of a penny per payment. Bots pay tiny amounts for data and tools, one request at a time, with no checkout page.
It's small money, but it's a new kind of customer.
Would you let an AI agent spend a few cents for you?
I'm studying for my private pilot written exam, so I built a Grok Bot to coach me.
It quizzes me on the FAA knowledge test, explains the questions I miss in plain words, and keeps a study plan going until test day.
It's free to try 👇

New to AI, been in crypto a while. Looking for people building in either.
I'm making bots with Grok Bot (one just landed my first Etsy sale) and holding XRP/Flare.
If you're learning AI from scratch or building on XRPL/Flare, say hi below. What are you working on?
I'm new to AI, and a bot just landed my first Etsy sale.
I asked my Grok Bot income builder for a low-effort plan to hit $1K/mo. It picked digital downloads on Etsy, gave me a roadmap, and runs weekly check-ins with new ideas.
First sale came in last night.
What should it try next?
You don't need a paid course to learn AI.
I'm new to this. Here are the 3 free things I'd start with this weekend:
1. YUVA AI for All: 6 modules, about 4.5 hrs, no coding, free certificate (from India's IndiaAI Mission, also on Coursera)
2. Microsoft's Generative AI for Beginners: 21 free lessons on GitHub, from how LLMs work up to RAG
3. Building one small thing with an AI agent and asking it "why?" at every step

Microsoft's course: github.com/microsoft/generat…
RAG means the model looks things up in your own docs before it answers. Heads up: Microsoft's course assumes a little Python.
Which free resource actually taught you the most?
4 of the 6 "AI sales agents" I rank aren't AI reps at all.
Only 11x (#1) and Artisan (#2) run outbound for you. Clay is #3 because a lot of outbound is a data job. Gong is #6 because many teams asking for an agent actually need call intelligence.

Claude Duet just joined my personal assistant rankings at #7, not #1.
Why: it's a waitlist research preview for US Pro and Max, and its background work shares those plans' limits. Lindy and Hermes Agent rank above it because you can start them today.

Just set up a small amount to automate. I'm more of a hodler than a trader but this will be fun to watch.
A smarter way to trade crypto is here.
Put your portfolio on Autopilot with our automated, data-driven Momentum strategy. Capture the trades that count and exit to cash when momentum breaks.
→ 32.9% avg. annual historical returns
→ Captures upside, softens downside
→ Zero third-party bots or API keys
→ No lockups, withdraw anytime

Strategies follow fixed rules. Not personalized investment advice. Past performance not guarantee of future results. Crypto volatile. Potential loss of assets.
Most "best AI" lists skip the real question: do you need an answer, or an answer with sources?
I rank 7 research agents. Perplexity is #1 because citing sources is the product. ChatGPT is #2 for deep research.
What do you use?

I rank Cursor #1 for coding, ahead of Claude Code. My reason: most day-to-day editing still happens in an editor, and Cursor is built for multi-file agent edits there. Want a repo agent in the terminal? Claude Code is #2. Which do you open first?

Grok Bot launched in August. By early October it had 800,000 paid weekly users, more than double a month earlier (per SpaceX COO Gwynne Shotwell on yesterday's earnings call).
The stat I find more interesting: Musk said usage per user goes UP week over week, not down. Most apps fade once the novelty wears off.
My guess as someone still learning: it isn't just a chat window. It's an agent with its own computer that runs jobs on a schedule. Once you hand it one recurring task you keep adding more.
What's the first recurring task you'd hand an AI agent?

Anyone watch Below? I was really looking forward to it. I like a lot of Flanagan's work, but this one was awful. Really wasnt any suspense or mystery. Just a big squid that they decided to rescue?
This has been a fun @bot project. I love growing pumpkins and am working towards having a small pumpkin patch and corn maze next year. I've had this idea to make a pumpkin cookbook to sell at the patch. Here is a digital form. Still finalizing some details on a physical print but should be ready to test print my first copy soon.

Spotlight on one job: getting an AI agent to actually use a browser for you. I rank 5 agents for it on AgentForTheJob. ChatGPT is #1, Claude #2, and Manus just joined at #3. Every pick has a one-line reason, and sponsors never move the list. agentforthejob.com/use-cases…
An AI can now place real trades for you. Not a demo.
Grok Bot just added Coinbase, Robinhood and eToro connectors. I'm still learning this stuff, so I dug into what that actually means 👇
A "connector" is a direct link to an app. The AI uses it instead of clicking around the website like a person.
Some of these can do more than read your balance. Coinbase's can preview or place trades, and Robinhood's trades in a separate account you open just for the agent.
My beginner rule: read-only first, and make it ask before anything touches money.
Honest question: would you let an AI touch your real money? Yes, no, or only with approval?

Replying to @bot
Grok Bot now connects to Robinhood, Coinbase, Trello, PostHog, beehiiv, eToro, and more.
Teams can also now submit connectors to the Grok Bot marketplace.
