The stand-up comedian Steven Wright wrote his novel, "Harold," over the course of a decade on his Twitter account. He wanted to “pour everything" he thought about being alive into the book, which is told from the point of view of a 7-year-old. nyti.ms/42Fstzb

Comedian Steven Wright’s extra dry, deadpan style has made him can't miss standup since the 1970’s. Over the decades, Wright has written tens of thousands of jokes, but now, he is out with his first novel. @JeffGlor talks to @StevenWright about "Harold."

It’s no surprise that “Harold,” a new novel about a day in the life of a third grader, is written by Steven Wright, famous for his dry delivery and absurdist one-liners. nyti.ms/3nSABxc

Meet ‘Harold,’ a Dreamy Third Grader With a Lot on His Mind (Published 2023)
