Today I was asked to look out “the pads”.. it was at that point I forgot for a brief period of time that I now work pre-hospital and this no longer means inco pads 😑😂

Our service is extremely busy. As a result, some patients calling 999 who do not have a serious or life-threatening emergency requiring an immediate response may be directed to use alternative, more appropriate urgent care services.

Back to normality after a weekend of multiple emotions. Stress, panic, information overload were definitelty present at times, but also feelings of amazing teamwork, a new enhanced skillset and a new confidence! Thanks you to all faculty and attendees at @BASICSScotland #PHEC
Day 2 of #PHEC course here in the beautiful Shetland. Needed to decompress a bit after all the information given to us today - so headed to see some puffins and watched the sunset ✨ Tomorrow is the last day and as always, sad to be leaving Shetland 🥲 @BASICSScotland
