The @FCC approved 15,000 direct-to-device satellites for @SpaceX, including a very low Earth orbit layer around 330 km. VLEO is now a commercial orbit. Staying there means fighting drag constantly. That’s the problem we’re building for at Vaxon.

🚨BREAKING: Secretary Pete Hegseth just announced that Elon Musk will co-lead a new War Department effort studying the future of warfare. He unveiled it during his State of the Force address at Quantico. The project is called Project Meridian. Musk will co-lead it with Anduril founder Palmer Luckey and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, under Chief Technology Officer Emil Michael. The job is to look years and decades ahead, identify the domains America has to dominate, and map the weapons and systems the next generation of troops will need. They have 120 days. The findings go public, with a classified annex. Hegseth called it an effort led by America’s best minds to study the future of warfare, because the best forecasts of the next war do not all sit inside the Pentagon.
