Such an incredibly proud moment at today’s medal parade. Totally deserved by all who served with @2PARA_HQ @16AirAssltBCT on #OpPitting

I watched this beautifully produced documentary yesterday as part of this year's Awards Season: a great story, stunningly told. I'm a huge fan of the Feature Documentary genre & this movie takes it to a new level.

They say 'never meet your heroes' as you'll be disappointed. Well, as a child & early teen growing up in the 60's & early 70's, my heroes were Tom & Jerry & I got to meet them a few years ago whilst Directing & DP'ing the 2nd Unit on their movie. They were delightful.

So sad that #Suffolk is in the news for the wrong reason today & not the outcome we were all desperately hoping for. So terribly, terribly sad. #noah ❤️

‘Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves…’ A collection of Ensigns I’ve sailed under on various yachts this past year, as I sit here on dry land enjoying watching the #lastnightoftheproms

My first time sailing in the Western Isles of Scotland this week. Some demanding & challenging water, but rewarded with beautiful views #yachtdelivery

I watched 2 eps. of KABUL last night; a sweeping, gripping drama. We followed the events of August 2021 very closely, our Son was on the last but one flight out. theguardian.com/tv-and-radio…

Hello @greateranglia I arrived at Ipswich today with some heavy luggage. The lift from the platform to the main exit is out of order so I asked one of the station staff for help only for them to say ‘not my problem’ & the proceed to watch a 67yr old struggle.

Had the great pleasure of taking this beautiful Searanger 44 from Plymouth to the IOM recently. My first time transiting the Menai Straits was one of the many highlights of a very enjoyable delivery.

‘A long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away……’ Well, nearly, 30 years ago in Tunisia to be precise. Happy #starwars #maytheforthbewithyou day to all those who celebrate. Always good to remind people that I worked on 2 of the least popular Star Wars films.

Wow! What a game! Poor decision by the referee re: the penalty, but that didn’t cost Town the game, their very poor first half performance did. #itfc #COYB

There's a lot of nonsense on Twitter (X) but most days I can find something that A: I'm interested in or B: Fascinates me.
🚨: A bird flew 8,425 miles (13,560 km) from Alaska to Australia, without stopping even once — the longest non-stop flight ever recorded.

I wasn't at the game today, but lovely that the 3rd generation of Hall's was! Seems only yesterday that I took 2 of our 3 boys to their first game. Now one of those boys is taking his own boy to his first game. #COYB #itfc

Today I sailed around the coast of Great Britain, stopping at various anchorages along the way (& all from the comfort of our sitting room). Lovely new book from @BloomsburyBooks @ReedsNautical

The last UK based Netflix movie I worked on employed roughly 350 crew for about 4 months? So a sobering note to anyone in the UK Film Industry complaining about the streamers dominating UK production. Soon they won't. screenglobalproduction.com/n…
