All of Donald Trump's HATE of Canada and Mexico and look who shows up when our country is burning to help us?
Canada and Mexico sent water dropping aircraft to help fight fires raging in California. Our bordering friends coming to our rescue despite Trump’s attempt to vilify them. Thank you Canada and Mexico. 🇨🇦🇲🇽

Hegseth on Afghanistan: I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters. It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there. Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations. In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths. t.co/x4tGhxJiFG

The logic of this argument suggests a fanatical take on the world. Why assume that each leave voter would convince one stay voter? Do you assume the leave side’s position is so strong that it will inevitably win out? Didn’t go that way in Quebec w a bigger starting % over 45+ yrs
At least 1 in 4 Albertans just voted against staying in Canada. It is a huge win for Alberta. Why? Because this means that Ottawa has a gun to its head. If every Leave voter convinces one person to change their mind, Alberta could leave if it is ever deemed to need another vote.

Levant has to be called out for this BS. Is he referring the foreign funded insurrectionists who illegally occupied our capital, harassed downtown residents & caused hundreds of millions of economic damage over 3 weeks? & BTW ‘the party’ didn’t act. The Govt of Cda finally did.
"Free to speak your mind. Free to worship as you choose." Said the Prime Minister whose party froze the bank accounts of truckers and watched pastors get hauled off in handcuffs for holding church. Canadians remember.

..and Canada along with Europe..
Imagine if Europe, in the days after 9/11, had cleared its throat and announced: We have struck a tremendous deal with Osama bin Laden. We have lifted the sanctions on his organization, so he is now free to trade on the open market and bankroll his war against the United States. Bush must step down. The man has no cards. Has he even looked at his hand? But no. Europe did nothing of the sort. Europe did not sit down with a mass murderer and come home gushing about what a strong and reasonable fellow he turned out to be. Europe laced up its boots, flew to Afghanistan, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and hunted that bearded wretch through every godforsaken mountain in the country, because that is what you do when a friend gets hit, and handing the attacker a shopping list while telling the victim to surrender is what you do when you have lost your mind.

Any vestige of real journalism or responsible political commentary has vanished for Levant. His insular rhetoric & ginned up personal attacks ring completely false. Carney has done more for Canada pre-politics via his service as B of C head alone than any leader since Pearson.
If Canada is the best, why did Carney live abroad until two years ago? Why does he have three passports? Why did he move his company, Brookfield, from Toronto to New York? Why does all of his family live in the U.S.? Why doe he want to join China's new world order?
15
Maybe now Cdn Conswervatives will stop saying things along the lines of, "How can we believe that's what really happened if Carney won't show us the text of the deal they walked away from?" "Why should we believe that Lutnick threw a wrench in the works, show us the text."
"Lutnick Throws the Future of U.S.-Mexico Trade Talks Into Further Doubt" share.google/YCB36qc3EcCd3ow… "A senior Mexican official said that every time both sides get close to a deal, the Trump administration brings up something else that it wants"

And yet, they keep doing the same thing, blaming Carney for grocery and gasoline prices, claiming he's corrupt, etc. What part of "it isn't working" do they not understand? It's mind-boggling.

This whole 'get a deal, any deal and do it now' narrative CPC have been pushing since the last election really shows that the Conservatives would be the worst choice for Canada in negotiating anything for the country......sounds like they'd fall for any pressure tactic out there
Pierre Poilievre demands Mark Carney "get back to the negotiating table" with the Americans: "A year and a half of theatre, of grandstanding, of jetting around and failing to get results will not cut it."

Trump in his rally speech tonight: "China makes the windmills, but try finding a wind farm in China. There is no such." Here's a map of wind farms in China, which has by far the most wind capacity in the world and continues to install far more than any other country:

Ahh Levant World ..all blame, shame and defame. Direct contradiction to election results ? Calling MPs who choose to leave a failingly led political party ‘corrupt’ ? What a sorry excuse for a political pundit you are Ezra.
Mark Carney had private meetings with corrupt opposition MPs and bribed them each to cross the floor -- in direct contradiction to the election results -- so he could steal a majority government Canadians didn't give him. He is the election denier. He is the cheater.

At least the Brexiteers still have @AndrewScheer
British public opinion moves relentlessly in favour of rejoining the EU. Brexit has failed Britain.

Yikes!😳
Trump administration refuses international election monitors for first time in over 2 decades. The decision not to invite observers from the OSCE puts the U.S. alongside Russia and Belarus, while the Justice Department prepares to deploy its own poll monitors. ms.now/news/trump-midterms-o…

New analysis reveals that Trump's tariffs raised prices on consumers and increased price inflation significantly. Without the tariffs, it's estimated prices would've fallen.

Poll modeling shows Doug Ford's PCs could win another majority government on just 34% of the vote. First-past-the-post bails out unpopular governments while the rest of us suffer. We need proportional representation so governments always represent a broad majority.

You know.....just flat-out lying isn't going to serve you well. If you had played the WHOLE clip of your exchange, people would see the PM respond & slap you down with all the projects where shovels are ALREADY in the ground....but of course, integrity was never your strong suit

Quebec’s election saw one of the most distorted election results in Canadian history: the PQ won 46% of seats with 28% vote, while the CAQ got zero seats with over 500,000 votes. Read our write-up to see how proportional representation fixes this. fairvote.ca/06/10/2026/parti…
