Watching this video of professional snooker player Mark Allen, aged just 40, is a powerful reminder that we never truly know what someone might be going through. You can be successful, talented, financially secure and admired by thousands, yet still face battles that nobody else can see. Depression is real. Mental health struggles are real. And nobody is immune. Sometimes, the people who appear to have everything are the ones who need support the most. Be kind. Check in on people. And never assume someone is OK simply because they appear successful. Tight Lines for Healthy Minds #mentalhealth #sport #mentalhealthawareness

Well deserved 👏🏻
What a way to finish the 2026 season! 🏆 I don’t have any words to really describe what it feels like, but I do have a huge sense of appreciation for everyone who helped, sacrificed and supported the journey to achieve this championship. 1/4

Very much deserved what a friend to have 👏🏻👏🏻
I must confess to being a bit emotional this morning at the news of a knighthood for Kevin Sinfield. I’ve always called him ‘Sir Kev’ and it’s hard to think of a man more deserving. He showed us all what it is to be a friend. What it means to step up when people need you and he did it all for his mate ❤️ After he carried Rob across the line in the Leeds marathon someone sent me this poem anonymously and I kept it on my phone. They called it ‘Arise Sir Kev’… When shadows gathered, and hearts would break Kev knew it was time to take… One step, another, through wind and rain, Carrying hope, despite the pain. He never stopped, mile after mile, Driven by loyalty, strength… a smile. For Rob, his friend, he aim was true Showing us all, what friendship can do. Not measured in trophies, applause, or fame… But turning up, again and again. And in every mile he chose to run, He showed us how friendship is truly done.

🚨 THIS COWARD BOY MORGAN REES, 21, BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF AN 85-YEAR-OLD MAN THEN STOLE HIS VAN Morgan Rees from Middle Wallop, Stockbridge — you’re no man, you’re a pathetic little boy. After a night out drinking, this scumbag launched a savage unprovoked attack on a defenceless 85-year-old pensioner sitting in his van. He punched him repeatedly, dragged him out onto the ground, kicked him multiple times, tried to slam the car door on his legs, then stole the van and drove off leaving the old man injured. The victim said the attack has left him terrified to go out alone, constantly thinking about it, and he now has to be extra careful because of the damage to his eye socket. Salisbury Crown Court gave him just 3 years and 4 months for Section 18 GBH. Pick on someone your own size you weak, pathetic cunt. Attacking an 85-year-old? There’s no lower form of life. Name him. Share his face. Show everyone what a spineless thug looks like. Protect our elderly. These cowardly attacks on the vulnerable are getting ridiculous. No mercy for scum like this.

Come on @Tesco!!! You buy a steak for £11 for a special occasion, looks lovely until you turn it over and realise half of it is fat and sinew. No time to return it so have to pretty much cut it in half to make it edible. Finest my ass!! Do better and stop tricking customers!!

RIP Alex 😢 Sending our deepest condolences to Alex’s family, friends, teammates and all who knew him. Statement from FC Hartlepool - ❤️💙 Alex Bell - Club Statement 💙❤️ It is with deep sadness that we share the awful news that Alex Bell one of our U12 Whites players died peacefully at home on 8th Feb 2026 following the reoccurrence of a brain tumour Alex was a much loved member of the U12 Whites and a talented number 9 scoring 36 goals in his first season for the team. Alex was a key member of the squad who helped the Whites to the league title in their first season and was a committed footballer who trained very hard, always had a smile on his face and thoroughly enjoyed representing Fc. As well as his love for playing Alex was also a huge Newcastle fan and got the chance to walk out onto the St James park pitch recently with one of his favourite players Alexander Isak Our heartfelt condolences go out to Alex’s family and all those close to him during this incredibly difficult time. As a mark of respect and to honour Alex’s memory the club will be holding a minutes applause at all our games this weekend We are also supporting Childrens Cancer North who do incredible work helping children and families following a cancer diagnosis. Alex was supported by the charity from day 1 back in 2022 and they continue to support the family now as they deal with the huge hole left by the passing of their amazing son Please join us this weekend in one of the minutes applauses and please donate if you can ❤️ Alex forever in our hearts and thoughts 💙 Alex Bell - Childrens cancer North - please donate at below link justgiving.com/page/andrew-r…

Remembrance is not a violation. I met with Ukrainian skeleton racer and member of Ukraine’s National Olympic Team, Vladyslav Heraskevych, and his father, coach of Ukraine’s skeleton team, Mykhailo Heraskevych. I presented Vladyslav with the Order of Freedom. Ukraine will always have champions and Olympians. But above all, Ukraine’s greatest asset is Ukrainians – those who cherish the truth and the memory of the athletes killed by Russia, athletes who will never compete again because of the Russian aggression. Thank you for your stance, your strength, and your courage. Glory to Ukraine!
