Quick trip to H-Town for tonight's @FCDallas broadcast.
730 kick from Houston.
Listen on the FCD app or YouTube simulcast
FC Dallas clinches w/ 5 matches remaining.
I "believe" that is the earliest ever for the club in terms of games remaining. They've clinched earlier on the calendar, but @MLS calendars looked quite different then.
They've clinched at least 3x with 4 games remaining, but never 5

For me, this is yet another important, probably understated, aspect of the '26 World Cup: That more folks are waking up to exactly this ⬇️.
When I hear that we still aren't a "soccer country" this is often the centerpiece of my response. American soccer fans are NOT a monolith
There isn’t one American soccer fan.
There are a lot of different ones.
- A lifelong Liga MX supporter
- An MLS season ticket holder
- A Premier League fan waking up at 7 AM
- A parent who discovered the sport through their kid
And many fans are several of those things at once.
That complexity is what makes soccer such a fascinating audience (and why understanding it is such a valuable skill).
In this week’s @pathway_hq newsletter, I break down why the first question shouldn’t be “How do we reach soccer fans?”
It should be: “Which soccer fans?”
Read it below:

Good on him.
Too many successful or wealthy people simply will not ever take the "L" -- because their ego won't let them be wrong.
Lesson here: Take the L, admit you messed up, and not only does the tempest die down, you may even come away having earned new fans and new respect
Hmmmm.
I'm beginning to think that we overvalue what an "Ivy League Education" provides for society

Quote tweeting this bc I get tired of saying it ... LOVE when someone else is on their ass about it
I get it ... high expecctations at @LAFC.
But seems a little harsh to fire him after a close loss -- away, to a team on a 5-game unbeaten run -- when he's missing half his starters, including his two star attackers

Here are the updated standings going into Saturday’s @AustinFC at @FCDallas. If FCD wins/draws Saturday night, it wins its 3rd Copa Tejas🏆. See you there.

🔴 FC Dallas 2-0-0 = 6
🟢 Austin FC 1-2-0 = 3
🟠 Houston Dynamo 1-2-0 = 3
It seems the @dallascowboys have, once again, been overrated.
I mean, who could have possibly seen that coming???

Did Premier League officials (according to NBC) seriously say Enzo Fernandez was NOT attempting to play the ball?
What absolute nonsense!
He's most certainly making himself active in the play
Man City are 1-0 up but I have no idea how
Erling Haaland looks clearly offside
