Updating my demo in real time as I incorporate my radio experience with FM98.5 and the Rangers. I can call play by play, host and create content on tv and radio. Oh, and I’ve lost a ton of weight, always good for TV! 😀 steveclarkmedia.com/hockey
Some much needed youth injected into the squad. Good to see, though we are talking 18-19 year olds! Baptism by fire!

I get that I’m a #PhinsUp fan and have no standing to cast aspersions but Dallas’ offence just played some of the worst football I’ve seen this season. And don’t get me started on two of the weakest roughing the passer calls against Green Bay.
Improvisation is too mild of a word for what Josh Allen just did to get that TD for #BillsMafia . Never seen a shovel/flip pass that long. Simply astounding, astonishing and just marvellous
IceDogs hold on for a 5-4 road win in North Bay. Look comfortable but the ‘Dogs gave up 2 goals in :08 in the last minute and it became awfully interesting the last :20. They go 1-1-1 but were outshot badly today (50-22), including 18-3 in 3rd. G Connor Haffner was outstanding
11 F , 7D for the IceDogs. Likely to help Zack Naish out as he’s making his season debut. Dogs are trying to salvage the weekend after 2 straight L’s (one in OT).
Stunned and saddened by the events in Wainwright, Alberta. Keeping all those affected in my thoughts.
Congratulations to the Brampton Steelheads who became the last OHL team to notch a win as they beat Kingston 5-2 in Cornwall. They’ll probably knock the IceDogs out of the power rankings when they come out. 😉😉😉
The arena may have a fresh look but the terrifying catwalk scamper remains the same @RobSandersonPxP
Yesterday’s #AHL game was the first time since March 10, 2023 that I had the “opportunity” to walk across the famous Hamilton catwalk in order to get to the hockey press box at TD Coliseum (Copps/First Ontario Centre).
Yes, it still creaks when you’re in the middle of the thing.
Even the most causal of fan realizes that almost all of the owners are flush and make boatloads for $ thanks to lucrative TV deals. I’m not against cost certainty but owners want salary caps to save themselves from, well, themselves.
Rubenstein made billions in private equity and by his own admission watched his friends make even more owning baseball teams. That should tell you something about how profitable this business really is.
I’d love to know why so many fans are convinced owners need a cap when franchise values have exploded and we still have no idea how much money these teams actually make.
If the owners are struggling so badly under the current system, open the books and prove it.
They won’t. And this is why!
2705 in Cornwall for night one of the Seaway Shootout. Ottawa dumps Brampton 6-2. Tomorrow it’s Kingston and Brampton.
Future potential NHL 1st rounder Ryerson Edgar nets his 2nd PPG late in the 2nd period to rescue the IceDogs from a lousy 2nd period that saw the Dogs on the PK a lot and give up a SHG and PP goal to Cameron Arquette. 2-2 after 2.
Excellent fight between the IceDogs Christian Colisomo and Kitcheners Ryder Roberson. They threw some haymakers. Pretty sure it’s Colosimo’s 3rd fight so he’s going to get a suspension.
Great 1st period interview with @seanfurfaro and Jarod Langdon of the @OHLIceDogs . Very personable young man, and a good story about the picture with the snake!
Gauging interest in putting together a hockey radio/audio show focused either exclusively on Hamilton (PWHL, AHL, minor hockey, Jr hockey) or extending to the Golden Horseshoe and including the OHL. Is there a market? Sponsors? People who’ve done this? DM’s are open.
Nice comeback by the IceDogs to come back from 4-2 down to take the game to OT. Even though they lost 5-4 in OT to the Soo, the team continues to work hard for their coach Jake Grimes.
Really nice play by Owen Power to complete the 2 goal comeback for the Sabres vs the Leafs in OT. 5-4 in OT
Tournament to be held in Oakville, which is fast becoming a favoured destination for Hockey Canada. A nice arena in 16 Mile Creek combined with lots of other arenas and great amenities are factors I’m sure.

I really don’t have anything against the #BillsMafia as I like a lot of the players + would actually like to see them win the SuperBowl. Plus, my #PhinsUp suck. However, watching Bills fans lose their mind + then have to backpedal when Josh pulls out the W will forever amuse me
