Our APAC & Ecosystem Lead @luluciaciao joined the AI Builders Day panel in Shanghai on where the biggest opportunities are for builders in the AI era, alongside @monad and @SentientAGI.
She also introduced Billions Network and what we're building: proving that behind every AI agent there is a real, accountable human, without exposing that person's underlying personal information.
When people talk about chess, do they only talk about playing ability?
Some play chess but barely follow the chess world. Others are low-rated but keep up with tournaments, news, and everything happening in chess.
Yet they shouldn't talk about chess because they have low Elo?
Lol 😂
🇺🇸 Hikaru Nakamura: "I think I'm still in the top five in classical chess"
Hikaru Nakamura on the top players in classical chess:
"If I were active and still studying all the time, which I have started doing in advance of Clutch Chess, I think I'm still in the top five.
A lot of people don't realize that the Candidates is a very different animal from other events. Everyone is juiced to the gills with preparation, so it's much harder to get an advantage. People see someone play badly at the Candidates and think they're completely washed and can't play chess, which is completely wrong, in my opinion.
If you ask me for the top five right now, I'd say Magnus, myself, Nodirbek and Sindarov, and then it's a free-for-all. Fabi, Arjun, Pragg, it's everybody. You can even put me in that same group with Fabi.
But again, it's hard to judge because classical chess doesn't happen that frequently. There just aren't that many classical tournaments, so it's very hard to judge."

Is Magnus still the best classical player in the world right now, based on current form?
I'm not talking about overall greatness, just current form.
I've always criticized Chessdotcom, and while I still don't agree with everything they do, I understand them better now.
At the end of the day, it's all business.
Imagine grandmasters telling lower rated players not to talk about chess, when chess influencers have had a bigger impact on chess culture than many grandmasters
I've seen people build great chess projects before reaching 1000 Elo, but apparently, they can’t talk about chess. 🤦♂️

What is the most painful way to lose in chess?
- Blundering mate in one after playing a great game.
- Losing on time in a winning position.
- Missing a forced mate and losing a few moves later.
- Losing because of a mouse slip when you're winning.
Which one hurts the most?

I played some games today and realized I'm actually bad at chess.
I can't calculate well, barely know any openings, miss tactics, and have poor positional play.
I only win when my opponents make stupid blunders.
How did I even get to 1800 on lichess? 💔
