thankfully, nobody saw The Adjustment Bureau so it's OK xitter.cf/BackLot605/status/1097…
My dad had an expression. He said, “Champ, it’s not how many times you get knocked down. It’s how quickly you get up.” I'm told there's even a song about it.

It will never not be weird to me that legislators will presume to weigh in on a process that was explicitly designed to limit legislators' power
Legislative panel recommends none of the pending ballot questions should be passed as laws – particularly the one being pushed by Auditor Diana DiZoglio to give her office the power to audit the Legislature. The panel accuses DiZoglio of "clear prejudice." commonwealthbeacon.org/gover…

this begs so many questions
'Nonplussed' means "perplexed," but since the mid-20th century, 'nonplussed' has increasingly been used to mean “unimpressed” or “unsurprised,” and this use, though often considered an error, has made the confident deployment of this word a fraught issue for many.

Replying to @FortPointer
Why is newly built Harborwalk on Fan Pier already impassable for pedestrians, nevermind projected sea level rise and increased storm activity. MassMutual couldn’t afford to elevate it? Walsh-era BPDA testified that interests of developers was aligned w public interest. (4/x)

Connecticut Gov. Tom Meskill went on a ski trip when I was a kid. It resulted in the best movie of the 1990s.
As former Press Secty to @GovBillWeld and Gov. Paul Cellucci my advice to @MassGovernor : it will come out, so stop playing games and disclose. Every other governor did—it’s part of the job. #mapoli
