We, bored apes, hosted an ape gathering yesterday at a really cute bar in Taipei.
the owner actually opened the bar outside of business hours just to see who these monkeys were.
guess what?
the owner loved us so much that he said whenever any ape in the world visits his bar, as long as you tell him you’re a bored ape, he’ll bring out something special for you.
we are just too adorable. 🐵❤️
check out the bar when you visit Taipei: maps.app.goo.gl/THqTvvhSRzSn…
I’ve hosted a lot of events and attended even more.
A few things that make ape events so special to me:
-nobody asks, “what do you do for a living?” We care more about who you are than what you do.
-ape events never end on time. people just don’t want to leave.
-only in this community will people travel thousands of miles just to hang out with each other.
-even if you’re the most introverted person in the world, you won’t feel left out.
-positive vibes only. people laugh, have fun, and genuinely enjoy being together.
I’ve always loved organic relationships. sometimes no purpose is the best purpose because that’s when I like you for who you are, not for what you can do for me.
Taipei is the first stop of Yuga Asia Tour.
- @mfigge gave a no-camera-allowed keynote. even if you usually tune out presentations, you would have loved this one. for 30 minutes, nobody checked their phone, nobody chatted on the side.
Rare.
- @machibigbrother and @mfigge shared stories from their journeys in the club during a fireside chat. the room was laughing nonstop.
-two community members won Koda plushies. (not me, sad)
-80+ community members showed up.
Thank you to everyone who came. It means a lot when people show up with so much love and positive energy.

On 2nd April 2024, our Gambit Points System officially goes live - complete tasks, earn points, and become eligible for ████ 🪂
Our 2 year journey condensed into a few words - the 𝘄𝗵𝘆, 𝗵𝗼𝘄, and 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻👇
𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
- introducing SkillFI for the Gamer Economy, where Gamers can be fractionalised and traded
- from GameFi, to SocialFi, SkillFi is the sleeping giant that will be a key narrative for 2024 (just look around)
𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁:
- web3 gamers do not have high social capital, but they are also the major contributors of on chain activity. How do we grant them an avenue just like what SocialFi did for content creators?
- there will be hundreds of web3 games, and thousands of on chain assets, but there will ever only be a single player entity
- how can we fractionalise and enable monetisation of a web3 gamer, so that skills can be rewarded, instead of the number of twitter followers?
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝘀:
- we raised $10M from trusted partners @sequoia @dragonflyvc @makersfundvc @ivcryptofund @YieldGuild
- our founders @elston_ethlas @0xWui @henry_ethlas took the plunge to leave their positions in tech, to go all in to building the @Ethlas_Official ecosystem
𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀:
- along the way, we've picked up key accolades that validates our traction
- top liquidity pool on @aeroxyz
- key partnership to build on @base
- gaming partner with @BNBCHAIN
- ranked #3 on @DappRadar
- GenAI NFT with @farcaster_xyz became #2 on Opensea
- Co-organised 2049 event with @Memeland @pudgypenguins @EarnAlliance @CoinliveHQ @AviumWorld @phaverapp @gam3sgg and more
𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀:
- Gambit Points System goes live on 2nd April
- access battleshowdown.com, login with twitter, complete social & trading task
- increase your daily points as they get compounded daily. So the earlier you start, the more they add up
- more info will be released on this twitter account
𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴:
- this leads us to launching our Bits Trading platform, where you can trade/speculate/own fractions of a web3 gamer, and share in their growth & earnings
- our wagering mode will be launched on mobile
We can't wait to show you all that is in-stored 💀
