I saw Dom received the ‘official’ award… Much like many awards, it just ain’t the case. Genuine MOTM below ⬇️ @AnfieldIndex

The man that is adamant that Liverpool will keep slot.
Important to stress no deal is close with FSG and Amit Bhatia's consortium nor is it a sign that FSG are diluting their interest. It is, as was the case in Sept 2023 with Dynasty Equity, a way of potentially bolstering Liverpool's financial capabilities. Story @TelegraphSport

Rayan.
What right wingers are out there that would be acceptable to call a Liverpool player? Barcola isn’t a right winger for a start.

Rayan.
Diomande doesn't want us and if it's between us and Arsenal for Barcola, there's a good chance he chooses them. We're then screwed. Our best bet would probably be hoping Minteh can do a Sadio Mane arc from inconsistent mid table winger to an elite one.

A lack of conditioning. A lack of structure around him. A lack of direction. It would be foolish to sell him now IMO. The key is finding the right partner. Not sure Wharton is that.
Alexis Mac Alllister played like a tortoise for Liverpool last season. A tortoise with no quality on the ball. But he looks transformed this summer. Most ground covered at the World Cup. He either downed tools or Arne Slot really lost the plot - can’t help feel it’s the latter.

Arne Slot. Gave him zero conditioning and a weak midfield partner.
🔴 #LFC Midfield metronome Alexis Mac Allister has covered 75.5km so far in the World Cup tournament, more than anyone else. How come we the Anfield faithfuls said his legs are gone? Engine. 🇦🇷

Cody, Harvey and Chiesa pays for one.
No chance. We can afford one not both. Both will cost over 90 million.

I agree with this But he needs a monstrous partner next to him, we need to find our prime fab. I missed 433 as I just don’t think he can complain in the double pivot anymore.
I really want Mac Allister to come back to his best next season man ffs I love him as a player, and he is a proper wind-up merchant. A bastard when needed.

Surely this isn’t a real opinion. I can’t be bothered to open up the account, but it has to be parody.
There is absolutely no way that #LiverpoolFC should be chasing Bradley Barcola. He isn’t worth 100m and is no better than Cody Gakpo. Yet again last night he looked like a very very average player #LFC

Same cost as Fernandes and cheaper than a Tonali. Make it so.
🚨 Liverpool are attempting to hijack Manchester United's moves for Joao Gomes and Manu Kone this summer. The Reds have already made contact with Wolves for Gomes after Atletico Madrid's move collapsed. Gomes is valued at £38M, while Roma are prepared to sell Kone for around £47M. (Source: @globo)

Rayan at 90m In the middle. Much better wages and overall package.
Be honest, Reds: Would you rather break the bank for Barcola at £120m+, or is Minteh at £70m the much smarter tactical business? Let me know below! 👇🔴 #LFC #YNWA"

It works for me
Tielemans Mainoo midfield doesn't work surely?

I like him. Very smart signing. But he’s not a specialist defensive midfielder. A 6 would still be needed. This is the Curtis replacement.
🔴 If Andoni Iraola wants intensity, João Gomes is the answer. Manu Koné is an excellent midfielder, but Gomes is the better fit. His pressing, aggression, ball-winning, and relentless work rate are exactly what Liverpool need. With Gravenberch and Szoboszlai providing creativity, Gomes would bring the defensive balance Liverpool have been missing. If the Reds want a true No. 6, João Gomes should be the priority. I remember that Klopp also wanted to sign him for Liverpool in the past.👀 Reds, Do you think he will fit Iraola's style?

Been mentioned quite a bit. Would surprise me if he’s not in the mix.

Unsigned not stating that the club won the PL. Gaslighting. Like propaganda from a rival fanbase.

On the training ground.
This midfield trio went from being the best in the league to losing midfield battles to teams like Manchester United and Chelsea. Where did it all go wrong?

Too many casting questions at the executives. The clear and absolute failure by the coach last season was neither expected or accepted. No manager in a second season has ever been gifted such a squad and he didn’t want a CDM. The coaching department becks the issue.
Edwards only came back for MCO, not the the day to day running of LFC If he was handing the DOF role to his buddy whose only experience was building a midtable team, he should've provided far more oversight & assistance. We're in this mess bc of the last 2 summer window mistakes

If you are looking for a pivot which has high intensity, we will need numbers. He makes sense as a Curtis replacement. But we still need a ball winning number six, whatever happens. At this price, I’m all for it.
🇧🇷 I do think João Gomes could be a really smart signing for Liverpool this summer. Bit of a Wijnaldum esque move. Press resistant midfielder who covers a lot of distances, works tirelessly and is a good ball carrier as well. Only Elliot Anderson (231) won more ground duels than him (199) in the PL last season. Actually think he’s a decent passer, too. He’ll definitely inject some intensity and energy into Andoni Iraola’s midfield which is much needed.

I think he knows, and we know that he just isn’t going to start for an elite level Club But he probably wants elite level wage, Argus I would prefer him to stay, but ultimately, if we get who we want, I don’t think he’s anything more than a rotation piece. Shame
🚨 Italian reports claim Liverpool have agreed an initial deal with Nottingham Forest for Curtis Jones Gutted.
