Had the pleasure of being interviewed by @FandomWire about the making of Batman Broken Promise! Really thoughtful questions and we got in deep about artists, fandom, and this crazy world we live in. Read here, there may even be a little scoop in there... fandomwire.com/stephen-trumb…

My girlfriend just asked "Ok, but when are going to get a REALISTIC series about the Penguin, where he just stands with an egg balanced on his feet?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Episode 2 sees us fire up the Bat signal to summon comic book/Batman gurus @StephenTrumble and @LiamHDempsey to cover the insane scribblings of one Edward Nashton in Paul Dano's very own, The Riddler Year One.

I think someone was trying to hack into my LinkedIn profile. What's that about, eh? Someone out there really wants to steal my scant and middling achievements?
#TransformersOne is like watching all the Star Wars prequels in one go, and NOT in a bad way. Accessible like a Pixar, artistically frenetic like a Spiderverse, and nerdy like a fan-film.
Perfect casting.
Welcome to DC, Aaron Pierre. After a long and grueling series of auditions I am absolutely sure we’ve found an incredible John Stewart. #Lanterns

Why is this so damn good! Small studios seem to better at making anime (yes that is the term I'm using). This thing has so much damn heart.
"I made a promise too..."

All technology is so low-key scary now. My phone can look at me and say "Oh yeah, that's Steve. I know that guy".

The back catalogues in question, Dano aside, are our four (to date) mini seasons on these other incredible character actors. Definitely more to come too. Check em out!

#Danonation rejoice! We have just recorded our first Dano episode since 2023 (!) which is our 100th episode overall (!!)
Centenary celebrations incoming when we kick off Season 10 (!!!) later this year.
Subscribe. Tell a friend. Binge the back catalogue(s). More to come soon.
Really really dug Rebel Ridge on @netflix. It felt like the closest thing to a “real-world” superhero story. Aaron Pierre is a star, and @saulnier_jeremy manages to do the cinematically unthinkable: Batman’s no-kill rule credibly depicted onscreen. #cinema #filmmaking
The truth about Star Wars that most people don’t want to face. If you’re a kid and you loved it, it wasn’t bad.
