I wrote this to reflect on how little has changed over the last 50 years in Louisville AND how what defines us can also inform a vision for growth that offers opportunity for all. Can Louisville envision a positive vision for its future? courier-journal.com/story/op…
Sadly for Kentucky, AppHarvest was a fraud before it started and both its founder and lead investor are shape-shifters, counting on gullible Americans who will buy their latest message. They may even believe it themselves. But we don’t have to. nytimes.com/2024/10/22/us/po…
If I were Tim Walz I would has asked JD Vance:
As you know, Mr, Smarty Pants lawyer, the Constitution prohibits anyone from being elected President more than twice. If Donald Trump was elected president in 2016 and in 2020, how can he be elected again in 2024?

Bold philanthropy may look like self-funding an expungement clinic in the face of people telling you it's unsustainable. @StephenReily expresses that boldness. Hear the story in Listen Up! Podcast S2E6 "Service & Expertise".

Feels like this is more about affordable housing than process - has any council member opposed the ways that too many market-rate developers do the same thing? @LDG_Development should not bear an undue burden to do its good work. tinyurl.com/yjap79zv
The corner property where Baxter meets Bardstown is for sale: how about making this the new HQ for LMPD's 5th Division? bizjournals.com/louisville/n…
With love to all the Greenbergs, this photo is a great way to remember a mother who was outrageously proud of her son Craig, her daughter Jennifer, and her grandchildren. She was also an advocate for women’s health, a cause her adopted state rarely embraces. A legacy to honor.

The expungement process is prohibitively lengthy and expensive. The Reily Reentry Project provides free expungement services to those who qualify. Visit lul.org/justice
It’s hard to imagine Louisville if Ben Richmond had not come to lead the @LouisvilleUL in 1987. His decades of service made us a better city and supported a next generation of leaders like Sadiqa Reynolds and @sonofEarl33. RIP. courier-journal.com/story/ne…
Everyone in Louisville should read this excellent and shocking story detailing the generations of LMPD officers who have openly abused West End and South End citizens, laughed about it, and faced too little consequences for too long. We need to demand better.
Louisville Police officers from an "elite" unit threw drinks at civilians from unmarked cars.
They recorded their attacks.
Today @courierjournal is publishing some of those videos, alongside a look at how that kind of misconduct proliferated. My latest:

Who expected the definitive story of Louisville’s biggest win in the last decade would be published in @runnersworld? Even if you think you know all about the @NortonSLC read this to remember that Louisville can do transformative things when we support leaders
with real vision.
