Truly honored to win a teaching award @harvardmed!! Showing students interesting cases and yapping about why they should all choose radiology is one of my favorite pastimes. 😁 @BWHRadEdu

Seeking Collaboration on PI-RADS: Your Thoughts, Experiences, Community & Academia Insights
🤝💡📚
Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
PI-RADS has been in clinical use for almost a decade. I would greatly appreciate hearing your experiences, insights, and challenges from both the community and academia regarding its use in daily practice. As a physician-scientist focused on prostate cancer imaging, I believe that collaboration across diverse perspectives is key to advancing PI-RADS and building a stronger, more connected community. 🤝🌍💡
Please feel free to DM or email me at [email protected] to share your thoughts, experiences, or potential research topics we can explore together. 📧✨
Best regards,

Had a ton of fun presenting about why BMI is a fundamentally limited metric for understanding health and wellbeing at #JSM2024 yesterday! Shoutout to @ilona_maher for giving eating disorder/weight stigma researchers one of the most badass quotes of all time for our presentations.

Having an R1 class as enthusiastic as this one sure makes being chief resident that much sweeter. Class selfies in the elevator on day 1 during the hospital tour was the ultimate green flag 😂. Can’t wait to watch them grow, they are shining already @BWHRadEdu 📸 🤳 🧀 🩻

Friends and followers heading to #ASCO24, stop by to meet this awesome human (to whom I'm proud to be related 😁) and hear about the work she’s doing to support kids whose parents have cancer ❤️🩹👏🏻
I’m probably not the only one, but seeing this makes me sad. My heart goes out to all the clinical trial participants, their families, their doctors, and the scientists who keep fighting the good fight against cancer every day. Fall down 7 times, stand up 8.
After accounting for biases and confounders, cancer clinical trial participation was not associated with longer survival. ja.ma/4dPQ2vs
Today is special bc it’s match day but also bc it’s my dad’s birthday! He has been my biggest cheerleader since day 1, battled cancer 2x, mounted tv’s in more of my apartments than I can count, can make me laugh in any situation, & is my best friend. Shoutout to the girl dads❤️
Congratulations to these 11 stellar future radiologists, I cannot wait to welcome you to the Brigham family!!! 🤩🩻☢️ – at Brookline, MA

Things I needed to hear on match week:
1. You are much more than a match result. Your worth goes far beyond where an algorithm sorts you.
2. Whatever the result, you're still a worthy human being.
3. No matter what happens, take this moment to celebrate how far you've come.
As outgoing wellness chair for my residency program, this piece is really disappointing @NEJM. I’ve planned countless ‘wellness’ events that have brought my coresidents and I closer together, improving workplace morale & camaraderie. Dissing wellness initiatives is not the move.. – at Boston, MA
